I think both on Youtube and Gamefaqs people have been continuously spouting off about DA:I being politically correct, shoving it's gay agenda on gamers etc etc for the past month or so. People also hinted about Dorian's personal quest being agenda driven whenever someone mentioned the character. Same goes for Sera.

 

And honestly, after getting the game and checking out the content, there was nothing of the sort. Dorian felt like a real cool guy to hangout with. I realized he was gay and all(long before Bioware spelled it out for us), but he was funny. His personal quest had him mention he was gay and that was because of what his father was about to do to him. There was nothing out of context that he did or said in that quest.

 

There were also a number of choices I was given to respond with as well. When Dorian said "I'm gay" I was like "So what? I don't care". There was nothing there that "shoved gay agenda in my face" like some people are wrongly accusing the game of doing.

 

The only time I had a slight hiccup in-game was when I quickly chose the romance option on a character thinking that that slot would be for "special" choice. And even that didn't start anything. This isn't DA:O or ME 1 where you got ninjamanced by Leliana, Zevran or Ashley because you wre just being nice to them. This is also not DA 2 where you either got a heartbreak choice where your Hawke made a disgusted face when saying no to Anders while earning Rivalry points with the other two choices being of the "screw me" kind. 

 

Bioware actually did pretty well keeping romance content distanced and only accessible when players want it accessed. Yet I see idiots running their mouths off about Bioware pandering to LGBT or shoving it's gay agenda onto people when nothing like that exists in the game. It's sad that so many are misleading unsuspecting gamers into avoiding this game with nothing but over exaggerations and completely untrue statements about the game's romance system. Half the reason why people don't want to try this game out and see for themselves.

Funny how on the interwebs, topless women is perfectly fine, but showing a man's ass is a big no-no.

 

Moral of this: Topless women are more appropriate for children than men's asses.  Wonder why Fox is keeping quite.

I don't care if people are religious. They have the freeeeeeeeeeeeedom to do so, as I have it to live my life.
 
The problem is when they push it onto you in places such as classrooms... or even knock on your front door and try to tell you that Jesus will save your soul.
 
Maybe I should knock on their door with rainbow coloured neon signs hanging off me, saying, "Gay is the way!!!" Or, "Sell your soul to Satan!!" or... "Grow a brain. Ditch religion." etc.

The first amendment gives you the perfect right to do that.

And if religion is being shoved down your throat in a classroom that isn't specifically affiliated with a religious school, I'd call your local chapter of the ACLU. They'll have a field day.

Yeah I dunno what the problem is about DA:I having a supposed agenda... especially when you have to work for that piece of arse you want. If you don't have enough approval with them, it can't happen. They NEVER make the first move either, it's all you. Sera makes a couple of comments, but you can easily take it or leave it. For example, if you play as a female and talk to her at Haven, she says, "Oh yeah, interested, are you?" Then approves... but it isn't like she's trying to rape you.

You'd be surprised, some people are so weirded out by non straight people that they would take Sera's slight flirting to a female PC as "she's trying to force herself on me!!! & BW are forcing me to like it!!!"

Ranting and bashing others faith and faith is uncalled for.Why shocked about the comments .I'm not at all. Homosexuality will never be the norm of the world.The world will burn first. Sad but true.

I'm not asking for it to be the norm I'm asking for it to be accepted or if that is too hard just over looked. No need to go out of ones way just to make someone elses life hell over who they love. Some of those faiths have it in writ that the punshment for homosexuality is to be stoned until death and I think that people should have the right to me angry at that part of it.

Pretty sure that homosexuality being the norm wasn't asked for by anyone.  All that's been asked for is, at the very least, tolerance for it.  What people do together is their business.  Getting up in arms about it and publicizing it makes no sense and, imo, can be considered an invasion of privacy.

 

Plus, considering how it's people's faith that is the root cause of the intolerance towards homosexuality, often leading to cases of abuse and outright murder even in the US, us jokingly bashing on it doesn't even come close.

Why not if I might ask? And yes youre right that it isn't anyones place to tell someone else who they can and cannot be with. But as Gamer072196 wrote many people out there uses god as an excuse to hate and/or beat down on homosexuals for just living their lives.
