I understand the caution.

I run a non-AoE Elementalist build, and very rarely have issues, but Firestorming the dogs appears a risky strategy.

There's just more flat out game breaking bugs in DAMP compared to ME3MP after launch so I'm guessing those have priority before balance passes. While the weekly balance passes for ME3MP were nice, I'd rather DAMP be made stable first. I'm guessing that's why we haven't heard / seen much in the way of expanded content or rebalanced content. They want to get the game stable first and foremost before adding more.

I'd suspect once the kinks are ironed out, we'll start seeing more frequent balance passes and expanded content.

played ele 20 times yesterday, used meteor thingy that I cant remember the name on in every game, not a single crash except the looting of heirlooms or weapon cashe crash bug

the key bug is just random and have nothing to do with with elementalist

I played elemental solo so there would be no other sources
it is more like an enemy walk into a wall and get stuck there, and because you have not killed all enemies you will not get a key

QA, bugfixes, balance changes etc. It doesn't mean how long the servers are up.

 

We aren't getting nearly as much support as ME 3 MP did, though, which is quite a shame.

Yeah, I'm sure that's the reason. Bioware totally thinks their own game is crap and therefore aren't giving as much support as they did to ME3. Seems legit.

I would guess we wont see a patch until feb. Im going with around feb 6-13. It will come out very close or at the same time as a new dlc which will add many more gamebreaking bugs.
