Not sure if this is the right place to mention this but I just watch the video from last week were Jessica appeared on tabletop.
I thought others would enjoy watching our former community mangers and all around awesome Bioware fan.

I remain baffled by the appeal of Will Wheaton.

Please, you are clearly not geek enough to understand that WW is king geek in the kingdom of geekdom. ![]()

Obviously, or you'd know that's "Wil", with only one "el". ![]()
And among other things his done since leaving STTNG on his own terms, he earned geek cred with me when he played a fantastic, morality-reversed, counterpart to Felcia Day's character on "The Guild".
Weird thread title for those like me who don't know Tabletop is a show.

Wil is auto-corrected as Will.
I saw him on The Guild. He was alright. They made it out to be a big deal that he guest starred, but I didn't see why.
He just seems like a jerk to me.
Is Jessica not with Bioware anymore? I think I missed the memo?
Oh, I thought the title of this thread meant something else....sorry

Came in expecting some drunk new year stuff, left disappointed
FORMER? Is she not the Community Manager any longer?
Believe she announced and stepped away to be closer to family in LA; thus being close to TableTop location. Not certain, but 'Bucket Dude' - and I apologize for not recalling his True Name - may have taken that title currently.
I know that's a character he plays. I meant that him, as a person, when not in character, still comes off as a jerk. How he reacts to various events (that shall remain nameless due to their volatility) on Twitter are a good example. He does play that persona often, much like Nathan Fillion enjoys playing as clueless. Maybe this vid might help a bit:https://www.youtube....h?v=yMrIrYzdybw

A bit of a damning statement on the involvement of the community managers with the BSN since Chris left that a member with 14k posts hadn't noticed the change. I know conventions, cosplay etc are huge parts of their community interactions as well, but you'd think the company's official forums would be part of their job description too.
This shouldn't be taken as a knock on Jessica, btw, she was and is by all accounts awesome.

EDIT: Actually watched the video... is that the guy?
If he's used to getting spit on multiple times with zero thanks, then I think he may actually be a perfect fit for the BSN Community Manager.
Technically the community manager is David Hulegard.
I'm not sure what Conal's job description is
Dunno why it was missed; a farewell to Bioware was posted somewhere, and I saw that easily.
P.S. This is what I read, I believe; must have been linked in one of the Sticky Threads:
http://jessicameriza...-for-everything
A Tumblr link nestled into an existing, unrelated thread and no other forum fanfare... and you don't know why people on the forums she was the manager of missed it?
I'd say her departure was much like her presence on the forums - unnoticed and unfelt. Not to sound mean, she was a nice person, but she avoided the forums like the plague.
She was on the Blog frequently; cannot understand why anyone would avoid the forums.... ![]()
