Has anyone else found the jars of bees grenade seems really over powerful? Equipping a squad all with the bees you can tear large groups of enemies apart. There seems like there is a wide range of enemies that the bees work on as well.

Yeah it lasts way too long when upgraded and the damage should scale (too strong in early levels). Even dragons have nightmares about bees in Thedas.

Yup. I thought it just made panic, I forgot it took damage

 

use it on mobs on that crestwood fort. It was beaaaaaaaaautiful.

 

since I was a warrior, I gave the bees to Sera.

If you really want to see what they can do go and fight a high dragon with a champion with to the death. Fight him for a while to allow to the death to stack and then detonate the jar of bees. Their damages scales with to the death so it's hilarious to watch a bunch of bees take down a dragon xD

That's realllllly impressive. Can you tell me all your skills you are using? It looked like your Guard didn't take any damage at all sometimes which I didn't thought possible.

Here is my first try at it before I got the hang of keeping the dragon in range, it shows my spec and stats.  I also did one a while back without cheesing it with bees, it's a sightly different spec but not by much.

 

It's mostly just To the Death to maintain max guard.  Walking Fortress to shrug off the fire AOE, Shield Wall to counter dragon breath and claw attacks, Payback Strike to get back up after knockdown, and Lunge and Slash to gap close.

We should have attacked Coryphyfish riding bears that shoot bees out of their mouths.
