Because all that fire damage makes your armor all sweaty and gross.

How about a video of playing up to Skyhold with a solo mage on nightmare. :P

Sadist, eh?  I like that.

Actually, I don't even know if that's possible.  Haven is awful enough with a full party.

After mid-game everything becomes a cakewalk with the right spec.

Oddly enough the first pride demon and defending the catapults are the hardest part of the game on nightmare.

Good job! Amazing playstyle, love your video :)

As for the suggestion of playing solo pre-skyhold, my two cents: don't bother. Sure it's a challenge, probably the toughest, but it's boring as hell. Not fun, never be. Too few skills and gear makes fight a tedious grind with no skill involved other than the endless kiting.

Defending the Catapults part of Haven on Nightmare has been the most difficult part of the game on Nightmare for me.

The first pride demon was tough on nightmare, it's very hard to keep your team alive long enough to finish the demon. Defending the catapults took me more levelling time in the Hinterlands to reach lvl 7-8.

But yeah, once you're in Skyhold and got your spec (your and your team), it's really easier.

I always end up getting a mage with ice wall, then sealing myself into the keyhole shaped area behind the trebuchet. The entrance to that area is exactly the right size for a wall. It's still difficult on NM, but at least I only have to fight one or two guys at a time.

Totally agree - those were by far the worst fights.
