I've read of similar things happening to many others. Firstly, Vivienne became Divine although I didn't support her whereas I did support Leliana. Secondly the slide with Morrigan leaving showed her alone, according to DA Wiki she's either alone or with Kieran in that slide. She quite obviously had her boy by the end, dunno what's up with that.

I don't always rant but when I do it's for good reason, any ideas on this guys?

Apparently the Divine result is also influenced by other choices you made throughout the game, like if you drank from the well, supporting mages/templars etc etc.

The Morrigan thing is odd, no answer from me there.

I kind of wish we were made more aware about the whole Divine thing though.  I mean I do like subtle choices being inserted into the game, I liked the whole hardening/softening Leliana, but for the Divine I wish the choices were a bit more connected.

Never had Vivienne become Divine w/o wanting her to. Didn't know she could (being a mage) but I did get the slide with Morrigan alone when she definitely had Keiran. This really confused me and it was never explained. Bug?

I've played trough 4 times now, all with Kieran existing and the Morrigan slide is always just her. I think it's a bug.

Thanks for the clarification guys, I think it's because I was just being nice to Viv throughout. I'm still thinking of what to play as my new Inquisitor though so I'll see what I can do.

Apparently if you agree with everything Viv says, she gets divine.

I want hard-arse Leliana as divine for this PT I'm doing, but I'm not sure if I can... apparently you need to ally with the mages?

I went with the Templars, had them enslaved.

Cassandra makes a good Divine too I just dont want to lose her as a party member after beating the game. I'm going for Vivienne as Divine in my current PT, I know, I heard she's a really bad Divine I just want to see that ending for myself :P

Actually you can get Cass to stay in the party for post game if you want to. The clerics are giving her some pent up rage, so she needs to punch something.

It's more than just agreeing with her though.  You're choices throughout the game, such as how you dealt with the mages/Templars, and  who you supported at Halamshiral are also important factors

I made a point to say I supported mage freedom every time it came up in the game for me, and telling Cassandra to let the Seekers go, and I got unhardened Leliana and free mages in my canon ending, which is exactly what I wanted. :)

First playthrough I disbanded the templars and supported Vivienne. Hardened Leliana became Divine, so it's definitely possible.

If you talk to her after the end you get two options one is labeled "Cassandra will never rejoin the party" and the other is "Cassandra rejoins your party". If you pick the second option you can still run around with her. She was Divine in my first game and after beating the game I took her out Dragon hunting since she said she felt the need to hit something... also the conversation earlier in the game about her family history :)

You won't be joking about that when you wake up in a dungeon, and that's if I have a good disposition at the time...

She didn't have to but she was wise to do so.

It was necessary, besides the Inquisitor encouraged me how could I resist?

Also thanks for the video Lulupab. :D

I LOVE hardened Leliana. Her ending is more believable than softened Leliana, if you kill the right people at the right time (which happen to be zealots and extremists) much can happen, for the good of Thedas.

That's true, it's about accepting what you really are and then using that in the best way possible. No point trying to change your core nature because you can't, you'll just cause unnecessary turbulence in both your life and the lives of those close to you.

I 100% agree with you. Eliminate the target before it becomes a problem. This is the only version of Leliana I'll accept as divine.
