Hello, my dear Dragon Age fans.

A couple of days ago I found this video on Youtube, where a backwards message is played after the Inquisitor drinks from the Well of Sorrows and hears the strange voices. Many have been able to translate this dialogue, including myself.

Here it is.: She speaks the truth......She is fallen/further north....go to him/her.....Calling.....

Now, the last words really got me thinking. As we all know, our Warden (if alive) is searching for a way to cure the Calling and has gone west. We also know, that Morrigan or the Inquisitor hear the voices saying that Flemeth is actually Mythal and that she speaks the truth. The "She is fallen" and "go to him" could be a reference to the female or male Warden. But of course, this is just speculation.

I want to know what you guys think?

Here is the link to the video::

A little hope that our Warden may one day show up again!

Damn it, Mythal, did you have to go and whisper everything backward? That just seems like it'd inconvenience your followers more than anything else! Elves.

Does the dialogue change based on HOF sex. And what if he's dead?

A question, about the "Him/Her", does this change according to the Warden's gender? It's sort of help confirming whether it's confirmation or not. I can't hear things quite well to determine whether it's him or her.

OP, is your warden male or female?

I assume, if the Warden's dead, the Orlesian Warden-Commander would take over, but I suppose they could also do something like Stroud. No way of checking the Orlesian's gender in Keep, may be worth noting.

There's a whole reddit thread dedicated to deciphering it:

http://www.reddit.co...d_at_the_place/

Most think it sounds like the whispers are saying "She speaks... The oath... She's calling us... Go to the altar of Mythal."

To be honest, I doubt it's any indication or hint at the Hero of Ferelden or future DLC/games about/featuring him/her... he/she is too difficult to implement due to his/her many fates, not to mention he/she was a silent protagonist. Those whispers are the same regardless of whether you import a dead Warden that made the ultimate sacrifice or not. If anything, I'm inclined to believe those whispers are hinting at the whole Fen'Harel/Mythal situation.

Yeah, when that's spelt down, that sounds more like the whispering to me. Ah well.

I think it's unlikely we'll ever see the HoF again - too many possible endings. If anything, it will be in the form of letters and associates, much like in Here Lies the Abyss. And honestly, at this point I'm much more interested in the Flemeth/Solas storyline than anything HoF related. I actually wouldn't mind if they left it up to the player to decide whether or not the search for the cure was successful.

What about the players that chose the ultimate sacrifice? There are some people that actually like this option. HoF's storyline should end.

He will be replaced with Orlesian Warden-Commander. Just like what they did with Wrex.

I doubt it'll be about HoF, but it could possibly be Warden-specific since there's a N.Warden vs S.Warden civil war happening after Inquisition ends.

It may involve hunting Solas and maybe Morrigan will get another power boost that Flemythal saved for her

That is so eerie. Definitely heard something about "Mythal" before it said "the Calling".

It's possible that this is hinting at the next game in the series - DA4, or whatever it will be called. It's set up that the Hero is looking for a way to stop the Calling; and Corypheus demonstrated that the Calling can be manipulated. I don't think we'll see the Hero again; rather, I suspect what will happen is that the protagonist of DA4 will get involved in the quest.

To be honest, I don't think it will be a DLC, but I think it will be a part of Dragon Age 4. The reason is because you have epilogue slides dedicated to Alistair/Hawke coming to Weisshaupt and soon disappearing. I believe that they do not disappear, but they join the Hero of Ferelden in Weisshaupt, and together they try to find the cure. I believe that another DA will take part in Anderfels, which is north-west from Orlais - and DA3 gives us a hint to that part of Thedas. I think that any DLC will not be strongly connected to the main plot at all, as it was before, but it will be a separate part that will have an outcome in the future games. But well, these are only my speculations. We'll see :)

Nice find, but something like this a mere DLC wouldn't do it justice. I suspect we'll get a taste of things to come in DLC, but this will be a part of the next Dragon Age game.

I'm going to be the downer that says at this point in time it's just as likely to be a remnant of cut content as it is DLC. Though, I'd love it to be DLC :)

I hope not! I hate it when you end up with more questions before you start the game than you had before.

I do this most of this will probably only truly be revealed in the next game unfortunately.
