I doubt it, Bioware have made it clear that will make the Warden's gone in all possible ways.

I just hope this "secret message" won't end up like mass effect 3 did. :pinched: It is to beautiful to be true with this kind of message maybe i guess if they let the warden appear it should be like they did with hawke default or customization fully voiced. ^_^

anyway let's see what BioWare shakes out of their sleeves.

A calling can be other things than the one the Wardens experience. In this case it refers to the calling of Flemeth/Mythal since she's the one you're making yourself the servant of.

There's a whole reddit thread dedicated to deciphering it:

http://www.reddit.co...d_at_the_place/

Most think it sounds like the whispers are saying "She speaks... The oath... She's calling us... Go to the altar of Mythal."

To be honest, I doubt it's any indication or hint at the Hero of Ferelden or future DLC/games about/featuring him/her... he/she is too difficult to implement due to his/her many fates, not to mention he/she was a silent protagonist. Those whispers are the same regardless of whether you import a dead Warden that made the ultimate sacrifice or not. If anything, I'm inclined to believe those whispers are hinting at the whole Fen'Harel/Mythal situation.

This reddit is just more confusing than it already looks. The first words are definitely sounding like "She speaks the truth....She is north/go to him/her....

and for the last either the Calling or Solas?. Remember that Solas was last seen heading west? The Warden is also west. There are no words that mention an altar or oath. If the Warden died in DA:O, then the Warden-Commander from Orlais takes his place or a different Warden.

"he/she is too difficult to implement"? He/She is NOT. If your Warden survived, regardless what gender/class/background/King or not/super evil/super good, all of them are searching for a way to stop the Calling. He can be customized, like Hawke in DA:I, can have one male and one female voice, personality according to the choices you made in Dragon Age Keep.

Check out the Kotaku article about this!

It sounds like the voices are responding to the Inquisitor.  (I listened without video before reading what other people thought it said)

Inky: Corypheus... a magister wishes to rip the Veil open.  I must learn how to stop him.

Voices: She speaks the truth.  She is further north.  Go to the altar. Mythal (something something) is calling.

Then Inky gets chased back to Skyhold where tells her advisors that the voices tell her to go to the Altar of Mythal (which is north of the Temple, IIRC) to defeat the guardian which will help her stop Coffeeface.  Kieran says he heard Flemeth calling to him when it was time for him to meet her in the Fade, so she could've been calling to whoever drank from the Well, too.

The video says it sounds like they're saying "Go to the orb (cut off) -ter" but there's not enough of a space between the "orb" and "ter" sounds, it sounds more like one drawn out word.

I'd never turn down new DLC though :P

if it is a calling dlc, I hope it means the warden is dead. So people can move on.

Hello, my dear Dragon Age fans.

A couple of days ago I found this video on Youtube, where a backwards message is played after the Inquisitor drinks from the Well of Sorrows and hears the strange voices. Many have been able to translate this dialogue, including myself.

Here it is.: She speaks the truth......She is fallen/further north....go to him/her.....Calling.....

Now, the last words really got me thinking. As we all know, our Warden (if alive) is searching for a way to cure the Calling and has gone west. We also know, that Morrigan or the Inquisitor hear the voices saying that Flemeth is actually Mythal and that she speaks the truth. The "She is fallen" and "go to him" could be a reference to the female or male Warden. But of course, this is just speculation.

I want to know what you guys think?

Here is the link to the video::

A little hope that our Warden may one day show up again!

Nope. Gaider's canon says HoF did the sacrifice, no Dark Ritual, and that Origins was their story. Most we could possibly see is a minor reference like we did in DAI, but def. nothing that substantial.

Is it so bad we want to at least see or old character again? Just because you don't care about him/her as much they should just kill him/her off. That would be the worst way to get rid of a character.

What about the players that chose the ultimate sacrifice? There are some people that actually like this option. HoF's storyline should end.

That's cool. What if we want to be happy with ours?

There's absolutely nothing difficult with implementing HoF into a DLC. You just need to know how to go about it. They replaced a whole bunch of primary dead characters from Mass Effect 1 and 2 with new ones that kinda resembled them in Mass Effect 3.

Here's the simplest and most proper way to do such a DLC -- Make it about the dark spawn and the Architect. Have the Inquisitor venture to a far away land to investigate the mysterious intelligent dark spawn and run in with the Hero of Ferelden. If he is dead, replace him with whoever was the Warden Commander in Awakening. And take it from there.

For an even nicer touch, have an option of taking Leliana or Morrigan along for the mission. Again, Mass Effect 3 easily included Wrex in the Citadel DLC.

See? Easy. But honestly, I doubt that they'll do it.

I hope instead they bring the wardens who died for everyone who chose the sacrifice ending back to life so you cant move on, since thats every bit as arrogant as your view.

Seriously people, we get it, your warden is dead. Hooray for you, have a medal.

For some of us though, they are still alive and still the most capable person in thedas (and some even have a wife and kid to boot).

Now i honestly doubt bioware will bring them back even in a supporting role in a dlc. I think Bioware are far too lazy for that. However it would be perfectly doable under the circumstances and is a simple case of wont rather than cant. So instead just let people speculate without the constant "my warden is dead because im too kool for skool so all your wardens should be dead too and all protagonists should be crappy 5 minute heroes with no longevity who get killed off cos its edgy and deep!"

I'm digging this thread up again because I stumbled upon a newer video with clearer audio:

According to the video, the voices whisper something like:

Vir Mythal'enaste (note: that's in the subtitles).

You will give me what I demand (subtitles).

Go to him. Dirth. (Dirthamen, elven god, keeper of secrets)

Mythal speaks... from the blood (??).

Bound to the same (??).

Travel far. Don't speak.

She speaks the truth.

She's fallen, lost. (OR: She saw the lost. My take on it is: She saw what's lost or She saw the loss.)

Then their is a very vague whisper: Go to the altar. Calling, calling. Travel far. Don't speak.

Inquisitor: Corypheus... a magister whishes to rip the veil open. I must learn how to stop him. (subtitles)

"Why am I here"? (subtitles)

Garas Quenatra? (subtitles)

Anyway, I think the "travel far" aspect is interesting because the HoF is also traveling far to the west. And I'm not talking about a DLC, all I'm saying is that something important is going on - far away. LOL. Furthermore, I see this a bit as a foreshadowing to what will happen to Flemeth/Mythal:

Bound to the same --> Mythal is now bound to Solas.

Travel far --> Hmmmm... maybe the voices ment the fade? Which would totally contradict my theory that something important is going on far in the west.

She speaks the truth --> Could point to the dialogue between the Inquisitor, Morrigan and Flemeth in the fade. In my playthrough it was something like this (I'm paraphrasing):

Morrigan (to Flemeth): You're Mythal!

Inquisitor: Really?!

Flemeth (to Morrigan): What do the voices tell you?

Morrigan: That you speak the truth.

She is fallen --> Flemeth is no more.

It's really hard to understand. Thoughts? Because this is really driving me crazy  .
