Guard on Hit? Crit Chance for weapons? Resistances for Armor? Or more attributes?

Depends, i personally like critical crafting my weapon and i put 1% hp per hit masterwork on armour.

Oh so your 1% HP heals as you hit? For Weapon or Armour?

Armour, as i critical craft my weapon. Do remember all your attacks and abilities work of your weapon base damage. Cause of this i find critical crafting better. Guard on hit is nice BUT you onoly have 25% of your hp as guard and a warrior can get 1000+ hp easily. Meaning that 1% hp per hit masterwrok gives you 10 hp per hit, guard one gives you 5. Mathematically then hp is better and since a warrior can generate gaurd on his own BUT not hp. That is why i go or HP.

Great Explanation.

Definitely critical craft the sword. I would also recommend against guard on hit for a 2H warrior, as you just don't attack fast enough to make it worth it (it can be nice on a DW Rogue or a Mage). Personally, I like +7.5% damage per enemy within 5 meters (Fade-Touched Bloodstone) on 2H warriors, as they'll generally be in the thick of things and can spread that damage around to lots of enemies with their AoE attacks. If your 2H warrior is having trouble staying alive or is a Reaver, though, the 1% HP on Hit from Fade-Touched Snoufleur skin is probably your best bet.

For defense, "Heal 25% of damage taken over 10 seconds" is going to heal you a heck of a lot more than "Heal 1% of max health on hit." Damage to guard/barrier counts as "damage taken." Here's an example with a mage and barrier. Drops to ~20% health at around 0:10, but then that barrier damage takes her to 100% in about 15 seconds. This was with the 20% heal version (Paragon's Luster) instead of 25% (Dawnstone). It's not quite as powerful with guard instead of barrier, but it's the same idea.

Its 25% of damage taken, a well built warrior a lot of time takes only 1 damage hence 25% heal over time is worthless when you consider it.

By that argument, so is Heal 1% per hit.
The point is, you occasionally take more than 1 damage, and when you do, 25% heal over time is superior to 1% per hit.

don't craft sword if ur H2 guy, best sword is Elven 2H, in area with 3 dragons, snow area, there u find a letter that triggers that sword mission, u need to go to certain elven ruins to gather sword pieces, its lvl 20 sword, i haven't seen better, unless u want to craft at lover lvl, i craft usually at lvl 17 or 18, by then i have enough dragon bone to get best result, that elven sword has ability like rift mages last spell Bull of Abyss, it has chance of it 10% but if u use whirlwind u have no idea how meany times it activates that bull ![]()
but stats on gear, i would say more STR & less CON or no CON, 2H warrior is suppose to be damage dealer, yes? or no? if u can u can add a bit STR, but instead of resistance to other slot, Melee defense

Wrong sorry you craft a lot better than the elven sword. Besides 42 strength = 21% attack power not a lot. My current blade itself with hilt and pommel has 54% Attack power. The only piece of gear where it is hard to match the item sats in helmets, since we cannot get multiple stats on the helmets we craft. But everything else crafting will beat it hands down. Sure the sulevin blade is very good, but definitely not the best.

Well on my Level 13 the best Schematic I have is the Jagged Axe. I made it with a fire rune and its dps was around 180. I just don't have good enough schematics or materials yet to make a monster. Where can I pick up some good schematics and materials? What should I be looking for at my level?

My 2 favorite masterworks are hidden blades on hit and 1%heal per hit.
All other stats/equipment I true to raise my crit chance, as so many passives work off of this.

well in that case the best tier 3 greatsword schematic is rare, cause i sure have never gotten that, cause the ones i got are not as good as that Elven gratesword

Farming T3 schematics:
Also, the Suledin Keep vendor sells T3 weapon schematics, and he will occasionally have rare schematics if you take the "Short List" perk (Connections).

For 2 handed best weapons are hossberg twainer, balanced greatsword, Anderfels cleaver and masterwork serrated greatsword. I have listed them in matter of which is best in terms of slots. i personally went for the balanced greatsword.

Damn I've been taking everything. Glad I know. I still got a lot of game left so I'll try this on the higher level areas.

Hossberg twainer is always for sale at the emprise du lion keep merchant. So thats good way. Masterwork serrated is by far easiest to get, its the the canyon tomb near the vendor at hissing wastes. But for swords balanced greatsword is definitely better and it looks awesome to boot.

Would it be smart for me to open all these areas up on the war room table, and go in just for items? I might not be able to survive at lv13 but it might be worth a try for some good stuff.

You can actually farm single chests just by saving & reloading, as long as they're in an "open world" zone (not a "small" zone like Cradle). There's one on the island just NW of the initial camp in Emprise that you can get to without any fighting.
