You can generally tell which review is real or fake. On Amazon especially. Anyone who buys anything based on a bunch of 1 sentence 5 star reviews deserves to get ripped off.

 

It's always been buyer beware. It's not just EA - ALL companies do it.

Does anyone actually pay attention to the reviews that aren't a verified purchase >_O. Why would someone buy the game from another site and then go to amazon to review it unless they got it from there lmao. Unless you can fake the purchase tag with these scams.

Probably an overwhelming majority of the people who would ever purchase the game have already purchased it, so who cares how EA or its contractors spend their marketing budget (if we just assume that it's true)?

How do you know these people are from china ? Does it say china?

 

What if they *Gasp* have a different opinion than you and actually like the game.

 

When for almost 2 months reviews are spaced out, detailed, and those who review the games have tons of other reviews for other products with various ratings, then suddenly in the span of 3 days tons of 5 star reviews with no other product reviews, all a sentence or less, you can be pretty sure it's a chinese rating farming operation going on.   They pay them .10 an hour to go everywhere to put fake reviews to bump up the ratings.

The 'verified' purchase is flawed too! Quite a few of those pc rating ones were just 1 product for the whole account, a few words, all bunched in a few days, and a bunch said verified purchase.  If you were EA, selling online game for $39.99 for download, had to pay amazon $5 to $7 for that, because they are buying their own game, then verified purchases are cheap too for them.  

 

But it's a step in the right direction.

Ugh....will you stop Skyking, we get it, you hate DA:I which is fine since its your opinion, it kinda gets annoying tho when you keep going on & on about how it sucking is a fact & that everyone who says they enjoyed the game is getting paid by EA, everybody doesn't have the same opinion & acting like all positive reviews & feedback is some kinda conspiracy by EA is just paranoid

And that my friend Is the reason why I no longer take 5 star review seriously, especially when it's so blatantly obvious that it's fake. I always read the 1 star review.

No, some people just detest DA:I so much that anybody saying anything positive about the game is "obviously getting paid by EA" in their mind

I'm pretty annoyed at this BS. I'm still waiting on my cheque from EA. There are only so many hundreds of hours I can sink into a game I laothe and rave about it online before I want my 15$
