Maybe it was because it was in the morning but i just couldnt find anyone online playing MP.  Probably between OP demon commander and broken glitches everyone is quitting.

Which part are you joking about, the holiday or the "important stuff"? Because if it's a holiday than what country and what holiday? Just curious.

I would have joined you if the connection wasn't horrible. did try 10+ times to get in to a game, and 2 times I could play, the other times I got disconnected or got stuck in a loading screen for 10+ minutes and finally decided to use the Ctrl-Alt-Del trick to get out of it. Now I'm just not trying anymore.

It's to bad though, the 2 games I did have were lots of fun.

 

And my internet connection is perfectly fine, other mp games run smooth and without any lag from my end.

Ah. Yeah, that's what I call Threatening while playing straight up PUGs. Sometimes the group sucks, sometimes it rocks and sometimes I suck. It's Treacherous.

6:30 am games with foreigners are fun.  What does it matter if you can't walk straight in game.

There are different time zones. 6:30 to me is 00:30 in California.
Though apparently the matchmaking is region locked, as I am also unable to find games late night/early morning.

You will also find a lot of players have removed the DLC due to bugs. I use the DLC, but I am only on during the Australian evening to get as stable-a-connection as possible.

Most games are region locked to prevent horrible rubberbanding from occurring.

Unfortunately yes. It particularly helps the players from privileged regions to make the best of their connections, while leaving players from remote regions stranded with their inability to find any lobby (arguably playing with lag is better than not playing at all).

I doubt DAMP has a playerbase large enough to justify the region-lock system, but that could be considered another issue altogether.

Do you have the DLC? If not, then get it and you'll run into more people. I find there's a huge difference with far fewer people playing without it.
