Of out companions when you out traveling. Who would you look to to prepare the meals around the camp, and what would their signature dish be?

Varric strikes me as a guy who can cook. Probably something spicy with Ram as the meat  I'd say venison, but there aren't any deer in Thedas, apparently.

Definitely not Cole, yes. At most, he'd be allowed to help with the slicing and dicing. Dorian and Vivienne are also out, too used to being waited on hand and foot.

 

My guess is that Cassandra and Blackwall would know some "camp cuisine" at least i.e. basic meals from basic ingredients. Solas, being the self-sufficient sort, could also be a decent cook, and I agree that Varric strikes me as someone who knows a thing or two about it too.

Yeah, Varric might be able to handle himself quite well on that subject.

 

However I expect everything Cass cook will be eatable but kinda "chop everything, throw to pot, cook until everything turn grey" Ferelden Stew that Alistair made back in DA:O.

Honestly, my Dalish and Qunari Inquisitors would probably be the cooks.  Not sure about my Cadash Inquisitors and Trevelyan is nobility, so that's a no.

 

Besides my Inquisitor, probably Solas or Blackwall.

Iron Bull will make sure his men are fed well, the glasses are full, and the horns are up. 

 

Solas would get fur in the food.

 

Josephine would probably know how to make a fancy Orlesian dessert.

 

Lelliana could too, but it might be poisoned. 

 

Cassandra would probably make something filling but not very tasty. 

 

Sera probably makes great food, but no one would eat it for fear of a prank. 

 

Cole probably doesn't eat, and what food he can remember/steal from other people's heads likely has some horrible tragic backstory tied to it.

 

Blackwall in the same position as Cassandra, except there might be a little Darkspawn blood in your wine, whoops.
