Omfg I almost pissed my pants. Seriously though, I agree. It's the internet. There are some horrible people in the world. You will find many of them here on the internet. Being a forum moderator is probably tedious with a need to facepalm at least 35 times a day. I don't think these forums specifically account for all of biowares care about their gaming community.
I would also like to add that like with any business company or whatever there are most certainly employees who don't give a crap but then there are employees who genuinely do care. So lumping the entire franchise into one whole not giving a crap about the community is unfair. I have worked in customer service enough to know this to be true. Not a company of this size of course but it is all inevitably the same some employees care, some don't.

The homosexual stuff catering to 4% of the population and those millenials who found it trendy reminds me of all the money EA is losing in countries that have banned the sales of this game.
Most of us straight people can cope with a few gay and bisexual characters in our games without requesting a fainting couch. BioWare have made it pretty clear that the ones that can't can just play some other game.

My point was that EA effectively shot themselves in the foot by creating a "fully gay" not "55% gay" character by isolating the consumer base. I understand the need for progressivism in this social injustice but they went about it the wrong way. You wonder why EA keeps losing money? Well it's because they don't take the consumers needs into consideration.

As stated previously they effectively isolated Billions of dollars in revenue in countries that do not accept these types of things into their culture. EA even said screw them anyways.
The fact that I have a gay friend vs the writer being openly gay shouldn't matter anyways because regardless of what you may have been taught in liberal arts, some people actually DO have a gay agenda and it is quite obvious when a company who "only cares about money" effectively loses billions for the purpose of pushing said agenda.
If Bioware is actively trying to NOT attract those types of people to the game then they aren't the consumer base are they? Bioware aren't losing out on something they never had. If that's the case then they're losing out on the money of people who aren't interested in videogames at all, should they have made a film instead?

I feel bad for Dragon Age fans in countries that can't play the game because there are gay characters in it, but somehow I don't think making Dorian bisexual would have helped any. It isn't EA's fault that some places have ridiculous censorship policies.
I doubt EA cares more about pusing the 'gay agenda' (LOL) than making money. They just have views on where to best get that money from that don't align with yours.

AFAIK there was one chain of stores in Australia that opted not to stock it, but it wasn't banned all together. Think Walmart refusing to stock gangsta rap rather than India making it illegal to sell DA:I.

First off assume want you want but to claim being an SJW is not a bad thing is to claim to be an SJW.
The gay agenda is to try to force people to sympathize with a cause that may not be applicable to a real life situation and the way the story was written it was most definitely forced upon the gamer. No gay person I associate with push this kind of crap. I marched in the gay pride parade with my wife so stop trying to act like you support them because a real homosexual simply wants to be treated as if they are a normal person not as if they need sympathy from everybody around them and that is exactly what this story pushed upon us
