A genie grants you a boon. You get to spend (alone) 48 hours with ANY person who is living or has ever lived. This person can be famous or family or ANYONE who has ever been or is.  (But no fictional characters are allowed sorry)

You two will be alone the whole time in a intimate setting of your choice.

And for the sake of argument this person will be healthy and can speak the same language as you. You are in no danger or risk of being harmed and neither are you allowed to harm them.

Who would you really choose? Hot celebrity? Ancestor? Famous person from history?

Why would you choose them?

Alexander the Great. Without a doubt.

I want to meet the guy who had literally conquered the known world by the time he was my age...

*Edit*

Who would YOU choose Autumn?

Jesus. I think it would be very interesting to see his side of things and his own personal views.

At first I was going to go with one or two relatives I lost at an early age but decided I loved the memories of them so much I would never want to change that just in case.

So that narrowed it down to Anais Nin or Boudica two women I admire more than I can express and sadly two women I also empathise with in many ways. Since it's only 48 hours I would pick Boudica. I would want at least a week or month with Anais.

So Boudica. Strong, fierce, smart one of my ancestors no doubt as well. A ginger (presumably). Pagan (as am I).  Yea a weekend with her would be pretty damn amazing.

I'll give a cheat answer - I'd spend it with myself (someone who is or ever was), but from the future, so I can tell myself things like winning lottery numbers or huge future events and how to use them to my advantage.

My answer more in line with the spirit of the question, though...

I'd say Ben Franklin. He always seemed like a bro.

If that doesn't work out im always here for you!!!

On a serious note, I pick Vladimir Putin. Interesting hi-jinks would ensue.

Because I'm bi, I should have the power to pick two! I'll split the time though to make it fair for the monosexs.

Alexander the Great and Elizabeth Taylor!

I think... my father. Wouldn't be the most pleasant 48 hours I've ever gone through, but... highly enlightening, perhaps.

This is actually a really interesting choice. Not just for useful information on future events that have consequences on your life, but also from a self-reflection perspective.

I don't think I would choose anyone.

Yes, I've lost family, but frankly I'd be frightened of their perspective..

Yes, they are numerous historical leaders I admire, but most of them were dickish so...

That's putting it lightly, but yeah, we're not particularly alike. He doesn't take that very well.

I actually saw this video right after my Dad died... and it was pretty enlightening for me.

Of course, my mind went straight to money-making schemes... but yes, a conversation with future self would be extremely interesting from a development point of view as well. :)

I'd have to go with my father. A lot of things I never got to tell him. That I either didn't know how to express or was too naive to do so.

Alexander the Great. Without a doubt.

Alexander was an angry drunk who occasionally murdered friends.

I think as far as the great conquerors of history go, Julius Caesar would be better choice for a chat. Even some of his enemies praised him for his wit, sense of humor, and charisma. And unlike Alexander he wasn't an alcoholic known for violent temper tantrums.
