So, wandering about the land... I come across a random encounter...

Where an old man and woman are talking about the child who fell from the sky in a meteor and survived. And they decide to adopt him.

That was great...
Then I notice, I can click on the space rock...
And I get a chuck of meteor metal... which can be used by the right smith...

So off I go to Warden's Keep... giving it to the smith there...
And have a starmetal sword made for me.

Now I just have to find me some serpent men to use it on. :)

Great work Bioware.
Whoever came up with that idea should get a raise. :)

Hehe, there are more easter eggs.

There's an obvious Monty Python reference in one of the riddles when you are in the Gauntlet. :)

When the person tells something about a bird you can answer "coconut" (Monty Python and the Holy Grail). :D

There's also a reference to commander Shepard from Mass Effect somewhere in the Deep Trenches. A poem called Load Limit Reached.

I've felt that theres been some uncanny similarities between past games ive played and DA:O but it didnt hit home until i came across the brothel in Denerim; one of the female lines for the pre-sex scene at the brothel goes along the lines of "Want to take a look at my ditties?" in the exact same way as one of the generic responses for prostitutes in the Baldurs Gate series... as the OP said, kudos to Bioware.

That poem also gently mocks the infamous lift scenes in ME.

Oh, right. I didn't get it at first.... 'why a lift?' I was thinking. :P

Apparently you can also find golden pantaloons, which is a reference
to Baldur's Gate. :)

Also, the demon Gaxkang seems a reference to the lich Kangaxx from Baldur's Gate II.
You can find him in a dirty, deserted hovel in Denerim just like the lich in Athkatla.
