Hello everyone! 

 

I was wondering if I could have help finding the answers to a few lore-based questions. 

 

1. Is Eamon still alive in Inquisition? I didn't see anything written about it in the Wiki. 

2. I know Connor is still alive, but what is his role? Does he live at Redcliffe?

3. Are Eamon and Teagan Alistair's uncles?

1 I was never completely sure on that. I do know that Eamon gave the arling to Teagan, but I don't know whether he is alive or dead.

 

2 I've only imported a non-possessed Connor. For that import he doesn't have a role. You can see and talk to him at Redcliffe, but that's it.

 

3 They're not uncles by blood relation. Also, I doubt that Alistair would refer to Eamon as such. He calls Teagan that because of non-blood familial ties and because he is being familiar in his Alistair way. Teagan knew Alistair when he was a child, and both Guerrin men are actual blood uncles to Alistair's half-brother Cailan -- they are Cailan's mother's brothers.

Im a little bit of a newbee when it comes to DA lore. Inquisition is my first DA game. Also, I should add that I had a specific world state on Dragon age Keep so Answers may vary depending on the world state.

1. Eamon gave the Arling to Teagan when he decided to stay in Denerim post-Blight to help the Crown.

 

2. Yes he was with the rebel mages but has no specific role in-game

 

3. Cailan's mother (Rowan) is Teagan & Eamon's Sister. Cailan's father is King Marric, also the father of Alistair. But Alistair's mom is Fiona. Teagan & Alistair, Eamon & Alistair don't have any blood relationship. Eamon brought up Alistair when he was a kid however.

To quote the man himself:

 

"I'm Alistair, uh...King of Ferelden. And this is Teagan, my uncle. Sort of.

 

"I'm actually Teagan. I'm only sort of his uncle."

 

They're not actually related, but Alistair regards Teagan has his uncle because he was related to Marric by marriage and is the brother of the man who raised him.

I don't remember if this was DA2 or DAI but last we hear of Eamon he is in Denerim advising the regent. This is sort of decided in the endgame of DAO. As others mentioned, Teagan and Eamon are 'technically' his uncles, and if Connor is alive/didn't get possessed he will be at the port of Redcliffe you can talk to him there.
