I don't make jokes when it comes to Oghren unlike some dumb players who do. All im asking is for you to provide a link to this claim of yours. Is that too much to ask? If you were lying then i would know that you haven't got the proof.
Oghren and Wynne, about Alistair:

Oghren still believed in the dwarven tradition unlike Varric who is a surfacer, whose character has nothing to do with dwarven culture. It's thanks to you Idiots that Oghren was never mentioned in DA2 and DAI.
It wasn't Oghren haters, it was me. I went to Bioware and erased all mention of Oghren from the games, and I will continue to do so as long as I draw breath. Oghren can remain lost, trapped under new lore and better characters, never to be seen, mentioned or even thought of by future characters in Dragon Age. You see I've done far worse than kill Oghren, ShadowHawk28. I've hurt him. And I wish to go on hurting him. I shall leave Ohren as he deserves, for all his mistakes; marooned for all eternity in DA:Origins and Awakenings never to make it to another game... buried alive! Buried alive...!
Mechanically, he doesn't have much place in the party, but Maker, every banter and conversation is pure gold. It's like someone took my brother, turned every dial up to 11, and made a video game character out of the result.
Okay... I don't really like him, but this was funny.
No one should miss out on the Oghren experience.

1st of all, you don't work for Bioware so you have no say in what happens to Oghren so please stop trolling cause you're embarrassing yourself with your stupid nonsense. You act like you are the one that knows best which in reality you don't know anything at all. Who are you to tell others that Oghren shouldn't be mentioned? Are you David Gaider? Patrick Weekes? Mike Laidlaw? Sheryl Chee? Lukas Kristjanson? Brianne Battye? If not, then you are no more qualified than the people that you are attempting to insult.

Given that he was paraphrasing Wrath of Khan, I think he was probably being sarcastic?
If you want some extra awkward, strip Oghren of all his clothes and armor when he does any of his camp drunken moments. Something very wrong about him hitting on my Warden while standing there in just his underwear, but it's also very funny. And it makes his accusation to the dog that it stole his pants all the more believable.

What information? All i'm see is people posting things saying Oghren isn't to be mentioned and the like. Then they claim they have found some info to Oghren and they don't want to post a link to that said info. I mean how annoying is that? I can see why Dave Gaider was right that this place is toxic. Still I have not come across any info regarding Oghren's fate outside of Dragon Age 1. If i am being way too hostile then i'm sorry, but i just can't stand people treating Oghren like crap and saying "That dwarf doesn't deserve to be mentioned at all." 
I was always fond of Oghren. Strikes me that a normal guy might end up just like him after years of fighting in dark tunnels against inhuman monstrosities while losing comrades left and right. The massive amount of booze is a way to dampen the pain, and forget hard memories. The boorish humor is but a facade for a seriously wounded soul.
I could also be putting too much thought into it.
Don't forget that losing his entire family to a psychotic wife of his in search of the Anvil of the Void. and the realization she never cared for him, losing his position as a Warrior of his city and several failed attempts to get a party to save her. I do understand wanting to look for the Anvil of the Void to make an army of golems. ****, if I was in her position or a grey warden, It is something I would do. Her ego is off putting. Between her and oghren, I would side with oghren. Another play thru with an army of golems

I remember that quest, it was fun, i miss Oghren and Dragon Age hasn't been the same with out him.

This i can agree, it's a shame that he wasn't in DA2 or DA:I. Let's not forget that he wasn't even mentioned even if he couldn't make a cameo.

Typical Oghren - preparing for the worst, hoping for the best and still keeping his expectations low while also trying to keep other people's spirits up. 
I've always liked Oghren... Which is weird, because I can't stand drunkenness or drunk people. But my wardens have always liked him. When he shows up in Awakening, they have absolutely no problem making him a warden. Despite everything, he's a good person and a hell of a warrior when he has a weapon to match his skill (like the chasind great maul). Everyone else mocked him in the Awakening prologue, but my character doesn't say a single negative thing to him or about him and they have absolute confidence and trust in him. I won't be lying when I tell his kid that his father is/was a hero, I'll be telling the truth. I'll admit that he has his annoying parts, but they don't diminish him in my eyes.
...Although I still wouldn't romance him even if he was an option. He's a great friend but I have no interesting in rutting with him
