Ok I haven't even played the ga me yet but I'm already running in to lovely things that need to be coded to go away/fixed.
I underlined my issues to make this a speedy read  if you just want the relevant whining

Digital Deluxe Edition from Steam.

So...
right click "Mass effect 2" 
click "Launch game"
Blank screen, yet I have audio during what I assume to be the bioware logo and something else popping up
eventually the ME2 "push any button" title shows up. I do so.
it asks me to sign in to the EA network. I try to do so, I'm hampered by the lack of the tabbing convention between fields. I have to manually click down to the next box to fill in the password, as well as manually click to log in, Esc and Enter are basically useless.

I fill it out and....

it just says "Please wait" with an ugly 256 color background of space (ok maybe not that bad but it's def a little low-fi for my tastes. No cancel option, no progress indicator, no idle space animations in the background, just may as well be watching paint dry at this point. 

I grow impatient after 3-4 minutes and kill the mass effect process in the task manager.

wash rinse repeat.

okey, was thinking you might not have a card that doesn SM 3.0 but yours does I think.
