Interesting... The Inquisitor is possessed by a spirit of faith!
Haphephobia.
Inquisitor is allergic to spirits.
Well faith wasn't rly my inquistor trait so doubt that. ![]()
So my inquisitor is not only possesed by a spirit but also an indentured servant of Mythal.
Same could be said for the arrows at the Palace.
My character was reacting to them, yet my companions were just standing there, like they were in la-la-land.

Not only that, remember Mythal said you were "The Herald of Andraste." So add that to your list. LOL!

Inquisitor has some serious issues. Freaking out like that over anything.
That's not a healthy attitude.
Maybe she just gave you a little jolt from touching you.
Personally, I still think the spirit of Faith was andraste, channeling the faith of her worshipers for power like the fear demon. And that's how she was able to take the Divine's form and know her thoughts, you, leliana, etc. Just like the fear demon knows about all of your companions from their fear.
After Anders in Kirkwall and the fear that caused, plus the mage rebellions, her power would certainly rise from people praying for the maker and her for guidance and blah blah.
Personal headcanon stuff.

See, that is what I thought-the Spirit being that of Andraste.
She knew an awful lot about The Maker, etc for just being some random spirit of compassion, justice etc. etc.

And she was rather powerful to be a spirit that just got there from death (The actual divine).
Spirits of faith are among the strongest spirits in Thedas, only rivaled by spirits of hope which for the most part have decided to ignore humanity. So her powers are believable, she doesn't need to be Andraste to have that much power.
Though anyone is free to make headcanons I suppose. ![]()

The Maker is a nug. I'll post up my theory later too. Maybe it'll get some traction if I put it up on youtube.
I'll just ignore the hundreds of codex entries and patterns in them while I concoct this theory.

This was a demon so strong that we could only run from it though. I know spirits of faith are powerful, but this one to me just seemed more than what meets the eye, Divine Justinia. Doesn't mean anything though of course.
As I'm still a fan of Andraste having Dumat's soul after some ritual performed like Morrigan's. And I'm trying to fit this with it. Cole made some comment once about "It being wrong to put it in her, when she's just a child," which was random as hell, but made me immediately think of that when a friend brought it up again. Someone had to have performed this ritual before for Morrigan to have learned it. Would make sense then why there's a cult that thinks she's a high dragon, and why Tevinter says she was a mage. Besides the easy way out of saying they made it up.

TBH there are too many good theories that make sense like this one but they are conflicting with each other. So we can never be sure about anything. I'm just being cautious with what I choose to believe. As Cole was drawn to to Cole (the person) due to him being in need of great compassion, Justinia's faith got this spirit of faith's attention and after she died it became her.
Also another reason is almost everything is ambiguous about the maker and Andraste. I'm not sure what to believe. ![]()

I'm pretty sure Andraste was the vessel for Dumat or drank from an Elvhen Well. And that it was also part of the Maker's plan.

Rather annoying tbh. Wish they'd give Avvar and chasind some attention since they're not going to give us squat on the maker, which is the biggest part of andrastian human lore. Maybe they'll enlighten us on Andraste one day, but I doubt it. So they need to offer something else to humans so Dragon Age lore doesn't turn into basically just elven lore.
All this theories talk kind of reminds me of ME3 indocrination theory lol.

Except I use the codex to support my theories unlike 85% of the people that pull them out of their asses. I do this too sometimes (the ass pulling I mean), not trying to sound pretentious.

Was not directed at anyone really, just a general observation.

That's sort of funny and sad.
Maybe when Dumat died his soul went to Andraste. When Andraste died his soul went to the first Divine and his soul carried over from Divine to Divine until Justinia died and now he possessed Inky?

Too far fetched. Not impossible mind. But something like that would require ritualized magic that the Chantry frowns upon.
Though, correct me if I'm wrong on the lore, but isn't it only possible for spirits to possess mages? And your Inquisitor can be decidedly non-magical.
