I know the game is old, but this movie just hits the mark spot on for me, and probably most PC-gamers

that played the crap out of DA:O.

https://www.youtube....h?v=0O5w0vxErA8

All i know is that if i were a dev involved in the huge success and probably one of the best RPG's released lately

known as Dragon Age Origins, and i saw how DA-II turned out, i would cry myself to sleep, quit my current job

and never let anyone know i took part in creating that herecy of an rpg.

I wish gamers could file for a lawsuit against developers not delivering as promised.. for example... Destiny , all promises, no deliver.

I don't agree with the lawsuit section, but yeah these were my feelings as well. I only completed DA2 because I wanted to find something good about it. It was just so clearly lazy and rushed.

No piece of media is ever perfect. It's easy to pick holes if you want to. And boy does this guy want to.

Not saying he doesn't have a few valid points here and there. But he loses so much credibility with the whole entitled rage thing. "DRAGON AGE 2 WAS SO BAD IT GAVE ME CANCER!!!! RRAAAWWWWWRRRRR!!!" No, dude, it didn't. Chill the Hell out.

I like DA2 for various reasons. It has its glaring flaws, but then everything does (including DA:O). I'm glad to not belong to infamous group of "most PC gamers."

I wish the OP and the YouTube video guy could just get a grip, and just dislike the game without craploads of hyperbole.

I think the lack of drama in the video game is what prompted the response.

He didn't actually say that. And the rest was clearly to embody an online persona. Of course people who you disagree with will have less credibility with you. That doesn't mean they have none with anyone else.

In our world, hyperbole is an established way of making a point. When people agree with it, they forgive the hyperbole. When people disagree with it, they point to the hyperbole as a criticism.

Yeah I don't take people with online personas very seriously.

So if you ordered say 4 $20 pizza's  and they we're horrible.  So you called them and they left you on hold numerous times...totally ignored you.  So you show up at the pizza place and complain and the customers there tell you how much they love that pizza and get a life its just $80. So what gives them (the other customers) the right to stick their nose in a transaction I paid good money for.  I neither asked for or solicited them for said comments. I came here as directed by the forums to post suggestions to Bioware, not to hear opinions of other satisfied customers, or for them to be the advocate for the company (since they aren't employees). Is this anyway to serve your customers?

@sunbrow You can rage all you like. You have that right. But others have the right to tell you you're over-reacting. That's called free speech.

As for Bioware, what exactly do you want them to do? I mean, really. Send you a handwritten apology? Remake the entire game for you until you're entirely happy with it? For all that it was a flawed game, Bioware as a company have proven again and again that they really do listen to customer feedback (arguably to a fault). The biggest changes between DA:O and DA2 were in direct response to negative feedback to the former. And the same thing is true of the changes between DA2 and DA:I. Bioware DO listen, and they HAVE responded to criticisms going forward. Even the DA2 DLC's showed they were aware of the core game's weakest points. They certainly have not just ignored the critics. So simply regurgitating the same tired complaints of a four-year-old game is going to achieve diddly-squat at this point.

While the Swearing is over done, the actual content is pretty accurate.

Ha i only completed it because i thought i'd miss something in DA:I... I'm still not sure i would have.

It always annoys me when people whinge about how DA2 was all about just mashing the action button. You can change it in the options so that you just have to press it once then Hawke carries on so then its exactly like Origins. Also on harder difficulties you can't get away with just mashing the buttons you actually do need to think. So yeah if you played on casual and never bothered to go into the menu to turn on auto-attack it could end up feeling like a hack n slash game but its bloody stupid to complain about it when it takes about ten seconds to change it.

Hmkay. I enjoy DA:2. Though it's not the best DA game, it's still one of my favorite games in general. Completed the whole game like 8 times. The story is not as good as DA:O but in my opinion DA:O is definetly more tedious than DA:2 (I am especially refering to the Fade-scene(s) and the part where you have to go to Orzammar, those tick me off so bad).

The video is over the top like all internet videos are, but the criticism is accurate. I REALLY did not like DA2. At all.
