ok so should I break that one down. This forum as a whole is to dissect the game into awful little bits of no fun. It doesn't seem to alarm anyone when you have a zillion posts regarding a material list that's not even close to complicated. However, if you simply state that you want to look at a rendered female with some objectivity... That of course is redundant!
Furthermore, the boob pinching was in regards to a post 2 above my own with a large photo of Sera scowling at me. So I retorted with saying that I pinched her boobs.
Finally, in direct response to a statement of characters not being malleable as per design... I decided to throw in a no-brainer that guys like the fantasy image of a scantly-clad warrior princess... I believe Xena was the example I gave. Was that not clear, because I think that you are just being combative.
Finally, I'm not going to kill myself over a spell check in a forum post. The fact that you point out a spelling error or the use of a single word is simply deviating from the topic. I've read your contributions, they're no more profound than my own. You're poor brain can't take another relationship topic... Too bad.
Dude... I'm late to the party, but from what I've read and think I understand, you assume that people are privy to your thought process. As an example, I reference the "boob pinching"... I'm not sure how anyone is supposed to get that you were referencing Sera's scowl (without any reference to the picture you mentioned). Long story short, the only thing that's obvious about the things you say is that they're obvious to you. However, for people reading these threads (as I've learned over time), the references and contexts aren't always clear. Especially when the comment has no quote or reference to justify it. I suppose people are just asking you to clarify your words and not expect them "to just get it".

I'm just going to stop responding to mLIQUID in this thread because, even now, I still have no idea what on earth he's talking about! I would suggest that others do the same.

well, I assumed a little spatial awareness that someone could see the giant freaking Sera photo above my post, but that's an error on my part. I do ask for your forgiveness, but to say everything is incoherent is ridiculous. I don't regurgitate quotations from other posts because I prefer the linear effect of following a response. They are just going out of their way to defend a one sided view. Not even directly, mind you, but instead with playing silly time. I'm in it for the long haul though. I don't get bored with it
OH... yeah and to stay on topic... side boobs. Side boobs for everyone.

Why on Earth does it matter if she's straight?
Edit: Oh, you mean you want more romances for straight people. Never mind. I still think it's silly. It's an RPG video game, not a romance simulator.
And yet people seem to believe this game is all about romance thus the endless threads about romance.

Maker forbids straight players have the same numbers as gay players. Straight players always have the same number as they did in previous games. You have 2 in DAO and 2 in DA2. Where are they being shorted?

Maybe because BW finally added gay companions instead of only bi and straight, thus feel "overwhelmed".

I love what I see of the game so far, but looking at the forum information, it appears that straight human males are shorted in romance partners. I respect other's preferences, but I do not wish to an excess of gay options at the expense of a more robust set of options for me. Maybe you need to consider a sexual preference (straight/gay/bi) in your character build set up screen to focus choices for players, AND THEN GIVE THEM more selections. I want a romanceable Leilana, for instance...NOT a male mage, etc...
Please fix this. I think straights still represent the majority of your customer base.

Play Origins if you want Leliana, seriously. They're not gonna retread on that and cause all sorts of problems.
Play...er, something else if the 'lack' of waifus geared to you is unacceptable.
...also gonna point out that Leliana is bisexual, so you'd be adding another to the 'excess gay options' (wut) pile anyway, if she was added. Muahahah. Wuahahaha.

@OP: In several of my play-throughs of DAO, Leliana was my Warden's LI. And my Warden is still alive. Those Wardens would be very upset, if "their" Leliana, was getting a bit too friendly with the Inquisitor.

We did have gay NPC in Mass Effect 3, but then again Samantha and Steve weren't a companion, and they have tons of female LIs in that game. I'm suspecting that the issue is more about the number of "inequality" since more LIs for females. Straight males for the first time in forever don't have the most option than any other groups (depending on if you count Sebastian as an option). Didn't Allan post some kinds of research where male students being they're being ignored when in reality, the female students just simply get equal attention as them?
