Two types of people I dislike. The whiners and complaining people who get all huffy and puffy about having gay characters in a game. Get with the modern times this sort of thing is going to happen more often. No avoiding it. And on the other hand the high and might individuals who snidely reply to such threads, lording their perceived moral high ground over these whiners instead of taking the high ground and ignore the complainers.
Make Leilana or other human/elf female romance partner (straight)

I think that was a compliment.
I am now 66 % sure that I'm not the boogie man.
And 33% sure that I am currently dreaming.
Are you sure you're just not drunk?

And of course, another type of person that I dislike, are the ones that feel if somebody else gets something, then they automatically have to get the exact same thing, or its not faaaaaiiiiiir.

We did have gay NPC in Mass Effect 3, but then again Samantha and Steve weren't a companion, and they have tons of female LIs in that game. I'm suspecting that the issue is more about the number of "inequality" since more LIs for females. Straight males for the first time in forever don't have the most option than any other groups (depending on if you count Sebastian as an option). Didn't Allan post some kinds of research where male students being they're being ignored when in reality, the female students just simply get equal attention as them?
Yeah, i meant DA since straight males didn't complain about ME romances because there were enough for them (suprise suprise). But with DA they complain a lot about inequality, whereas there's no such thing with straight/bi romances. Gay however.... DAI was the first dragon age game that added gay companions.
Besides, god forbid straight women got more romances for the first time...

I think this topic has been covered sufficiently, both here and in many, many other threads.
