 Sorry if that was misleading. Can someone who has been through the whole process successfully please post a straightforward walkthrough of the steps required to download pre order dlc? Assume the reader has not yet created an EA Online OR Cerberus network account. Thanks to any willing to attempt this endeavor

Well I can try from what I learned last night and this morning:

Remember, I'm just a regular schmoe like you   My disclaimer.

Assuming you have not created an EA account yet or entered in any codes

 For the Xbox 360 version

1. Go to ea.com and create an EA account, using the same email as your xbox live gamertag
2. insert ME2 disc and hit the START button
3. It will prompt you or tell you about the Cerebus Network
4. Enter you Cerebus code in the next screen (if I remember correctly, I think it actually has two choices at that point: Enter Code or Buy)
5. It should ten take you to the next interface which looks like a monitor on the left with some titles ( New Game, Extras, and something else, can't remember)
6. After you do that.....go back to the social network on the internet (this place), and while you are logged in with the account you just made for the EA site (which should be the same as the one you use to log into here), go to

Profile>Redeem Promo Code

then enter in one of the codes you have for the DLC (try one at a time first just to be sure)
7. If it is successful, it will list what it is with a DOWNLOAD link  DO NOT HIT THE DOWNLOAD LINK  just leave your screen where it is
8. Go back to your Xbox, exit ME2, then restart it.
9. Once the game loads, and you hit start again, it should take you back to the Cerebus Monitor UI where it will have a new option that say something like "Download Content Available"
10 Click on that and you should see the stuff you entered on this website  "redeem promo code" step.
11. Download and viola
12. repeat steps 6-11 for any more codes you might have.

This worked for me early this morning.

Please pay attention to the stuff in BOLD.   You don't want to use two different accounts or emails to register your codes or you will have to have EA straighten it out.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately most of us entered the codes and already had an account profile. Hence we are screwed until Bioware gets back from lunch, or vacation or whatever.

The only thing I might add to this list, is ME2 might ask you to sign into your EA account when you first start it up (the very first time).

It didn't for me, it auto signed me in to an account I made 3 years ago, that had the same email as my gamertag.

Oh boy. Thanks for the walkthrough. This has probably already been said on a number of posts, but W T F is wrong with using the Xbox's market place for DLC?

The reason you don't need to hit the download link if you are redeeming a code for the xbox, is because that link is for the PC version.
If you go over to

Profile > Registered Game Promos

you will discover that even if you bought the 360 version of the game, the code gives you the PC versions of the bonus content in addition to the 360 content.

Yea I had all my accounts linked after putting in the codes on this Crap site. called Microsoft made sure all was on the up and up. Still a no go.
