I thought it was the other way around since skyrim was filled with alot more copypastes

No...Most of the caves and areas looked different with different enemies in each area...All town and cities look completely different...

DAI has no enemy variety at all and most of the zones are jungle or desert with no dynamic weather and day/night cycle...Val Royeux is the only one city in DAI which is terribly design

ahh skyrim is exactly the same when Elder scroll was released.

almost nothing chanced past those years.

Alot better graphics. Mod makes the combat more intresting it was a good game but I don't think that it is as fun to explore as dragon age is.

Ya nothing is changed..I wonder why every ES game wins so many GOTY awards and sells over 10milion copies everytime....

ESV:Skyrim won over 100 GOTY awards and sold over 20million copies..We will see how many copies and awards DAI will get

Release of a ES game is like a big event in video game industry just like GTA....

I agree. Please no more open world levels with no real side quest(dialogue, cutscene, choices). Please give back one dungeon with 11 side quests instead of 11 dungeons with no side quests.

There were several times I got a Skyrim flashback while playing DA:I. When I explored dwarven ruins at the storm coast I had to actively remind myself that there was no danger from Dwemer centurions. The Fade sequence after Adamant reminded me a lot of Apocrypha, the realm of the daedric prince Hermaeus Mora. Only with less books. ;)

There are several elements taken from other games in DA:I, there is no denying that. It's what all games do.

I just wish some would have been integrated better. Mounts feel completely out of place. I think I may have used one in the Hissing Wastes once but anywhere else walking worked better and also allowed me to hear party banter.

I understand what BioWare tried here but they didn't quite get the balance right. There's too much world for the story they have.

Edit: Storm Coast, not Sword Coast. I'm getting my games mixed up. ^^

How many hours you have spent in Skyrim ?

List of different enemies in Skyrim -

Animunculi, Hags, Falmers, Chaurus, Wraiths, Lowlife, Volks, Drascua, Shades, Atronach, Seeker, Lurkers, Hagraven.. These can be found in dungeons/caves. Even Draugrs are different. Deathlords, Hulking, Overlords, Scourge, Wight, etc, and special named Draugrs like Holgeir, Fjori, Curalmil, Plus 8 different type of Dragon variety..There are Giants and Mammoth..

Skyrim has 20 plus different types of unique armors and more than 50 types of weapons more you can craft....If you have explored everything then you should know amount variety is there....

Bioware over fix stuff we asked don't reuse levels we want more than one dungeon. Bioware: People want OPEN WORLD.

I use what DaemionMoadrin it perfect "I understand what BioWare tried here but they didn't quite get the balance right. There's too much world for the story they have." Everyone love bioware story and characters not levels and game play. They tried  to make great world and in process failed at in everything story is worst of all 3 games. All levels empty and have no effect on main story (main story and open world is 2 separate parts of game, Main story should be integrated in the world).

I don't care what they do with the series in the future, I had been tolerating the ever-worsening quality of BioWare's games for years, but ruining the Dragon Age series with this obvious Skyrim copy (and a very buggy copy at that) was the last straw for me, I won't buy another game made by the EA division known as BioWare.

No...Skyrim has more enemies...Go ahead post list of all different DAI enemies and let's compare..

Skyrim is weak in story and characters but everything else is quite good....

Embarringly alot of hours actually.... and the dragur "variants" you mention are just renamed regular dragur death lords.  Seekers, lurkers and the other dragonborn enemies where added after. You forgot the frostbite spiders and the LOUD F*CKING bears that kept destroying my ears.  But skyrim is big and has alot of caves and usually with one of three enemy groups in them: Dragurs, falmers and chauruses, or dwarven machineries.

Edit: Also mudcrabs

Keyword being "trying" there.

Because Skyrim was a vastly better game at what it tried to do (an actual open world worth exploring).

There are more if you go and discover each nd every location....Exploration is the main hook of ES games..You will always see new and cool things if you explore in ES games....No one play ES games for story..lol

Yeah and I agree but I've explored that land in many many different playthroughs so I've pretty much found it all twice over. But I still prefer exploring Dragon age since the areas in that game seems more tied up and less buggy. I never said I played ES for story.

super overrated to be honest, only thing that saved the game is the modding community.

Don't worry, Bioware's next installment will 'borrow influence' from whatever game that's popular/successful for its time. At this point, BioWare isn't interested in innovation, but how to stay abreast with mainstream politics.

Bioware can never make a good open world...There idea of open world game is creating big ass empty zones nothing else...

Dynamic day/night cycle and weather effects and NPCs reacting to your every action makes ES games far more alive and rich...

Every NPC in Skyrim has some kind of dialogue  plus you can kill each one of them (except few important story characters and children) :D

CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXTGEN ELDER SCROLLS OR FALLOUT game..... :D

Are we living in the same universe? Every skyrim npc has something to say sure but when you hear the same freaking lines over and over the npcs quickly loose their life. Obivion did it better because at least then I could laugh at them.

Bioware: You can customize keeps. Crestwood moist advertised choice defend keep or village not in game. Different endings you can even lose. You can do this and this.

Bethesda: There will be no wear-wolfs in game we have problems sorry.

Fallout will be released in this gen.

Yes, few of them do repeat same lines but not all.. But in DAI you can only talk to important quest characters or your companions that's it.....And once main story is complete you can't even talk to your companions...They just don't respond..

Skyrim is not perfect but it tries to do lot more than DAI plus Bethesda respects community more than Bioware...Bioware will never allow mods for DAI coz of microtransaction in multiplayer.....

What? A few? Are you kidding? Every guard in every town says the same thing except some variation based on factions in the civil war. The other npcs aren't much better tbh. I like Bethesda but it treated its playstation customers worse than crap with skyrim imo.
