can these challenges be replayed as many times as you want?

Not sure what you mean there. If you get an email saying someone wants you to fight with no medi-gel, and then you do it, that challenge is done. You will get a follow up email acknowledging you completed the challenge and your journal will mark it as done. This is just like any other quest: get the quest assignment, do the quest, quest is acknowledged as completed. These challenge quests are not reissued. They are not radiant quests.

 

You can keep fighting in the arena as long as you want with as many different score modifiers, enemy types and tiers, and team mates as you wish, but there are only a finite number of quests related to specific match settings.

Standard quests in Mass Effect can only be played once per a play through.

 

I was wondering if the Arena challenges are an exception to this.

You can go into the arena as much as you want, with whomever you want (of available possibilities).

However, the "challenges" don't repeat. They do run out. And I don't think you can access the arena again after you actually finish the DLC (have a party). Could be wrong about that last part, though.

You can go back to the Silver Sun Strip and the Armax Arena anytime you want even once you finished the DLC and the Party.

 

As long as it's before the Chronos Station Mission anyway.

You don't have to finish the party to go back to Silver Sun Strip.
