I'm not sure if that counts as voice acting though. ![]()

well she's impersonated in the game so it should and even if it doesn't that doesn't make her contribution to the game any less awesome

Fem Shepard and Bastila Shan were pretty significant roles.
I thought this was just a discussion of Inquisition voice actors.

Kate Mulgrew as Flemeth. Her voice acting just blew me away this time:
I got goosebumps.

Tie between Claudia Black and Miranda Raison.
Claudia Black, because Claudia Black is fantastic in every role, ever.

Eve Myles as Merrill is n1 for me. So sweet I had to check my dentist after playing DA2.
As for male one it's Martin Sheen as Illusive Man ofc. No exceptions.
Ali Hillis was good as Liara, too... However her VA degraded after ME2 if you ask me. ME was a nice start, and ME2 was a pinnacle in her VA imao.
Seth Green as Joker in ME/ME2/ME3. Hillarious one, but as I've said already ME3 wasn't the best game in the means of VA.

Robyn Addison's Sera was a nice surprise, she absolutely nails the emotional shifts between mischievous, angry and vulnerable, and is definitely my favourite. Ramon Tikaram pulls out an absolutely blinder on that sort of thing too, and brings a massive amount of character to Dorian beyond the writing, and Greg Ellis does well with Cullen, there's a nice warmth to his voice that makes the character feel more approachable.
Honestly though, all the VAs do a good job, those are just the standouts for me.

They are all so great though, I really struggle to pick one. This is the one part Bioware does really well.
My favorite is probably the british male quizzy. I just like to listen to his voice. He is so adorable in the Josephine romance.
Dorian is also really great, Abalas VA said so little, but still portrayed such sadness, really well done. To be honest I could list them all. ![]()

There are a lot of great VA's throughout Bioware games so it's hard to pick which ones I like the most. In Dragon Age I'll choose: Alistair, Morrigan, Flemeth, Cole, Blackwall, Dorian, Oghren, and Solas. I also liked Awakening Anders' voice as well as Cullen's.
For Mass Effect, it would have to go to Garrus and Tali.

I rather liked the English Inquisitor voice. I found the inquisitor a bit bland as a personality but he was saved somewhat by the voice acting.

As the title says looking to see who people thought did an excellent job at their voice work and really stood out. As well as who you'd like to see possibly get a role in any dlc or exp.
My top picks would be Cole(James Norton) and Sera(Robyn Addison). They both have a unique style of talking throughout the story, yet you could always hear the tone and emotion in their voice change when it was required. Doesn't hurt that they both had some really good dialogue with other party members.
As for ones I'd like to hear from. If we don't get Sigrun back I would love to have Natalia Cigliuti back to voice a new party member or even the female PC. I'm also still holding out hope to have Peter Serafinowicz come in for a villain, using something close to his Darth Maul voice.
I adore Leliana's accent, I really wish they had given her better lines and more interaction. I really would have like to explored her crisis of conscience a lot more than what the current dialog allows and gotten to know her a lot better as a result.
I would have also loved to have had more interactions with the Gaspard's Mercenary captain. i know he was meant to be just a minor character but the interaction with him at the Winter Palace is by far one of the best cut scenes in the game as far as I'm concerned.

I like Alistair's presentation of Blackwall...uh, the actor's name WAS Alistair, right? Right.
...Something about Jennifer Hale's performance for Krem has been throwing me off every now and then. I mean- you can't recognize that it's her, which is a plus but there's something about the performance that doesn't quite work for me. Mark Veer's Bartender Dwarf-who's-name-I-forgot is in a similar boat, but it fits the character's personality of saying as little words as possible.

This depends as much on writing as on the actor.
Did you listen to Solas's stories about the fade? They are so damn amazing, they give me goosebumps just listening to them! And I am normally very indifferent to this sort of thing. It's a combination of appropriate writing and voice acting that makes a character stand out. So really, I don't think that it's possible to say which voice actor is the best, because they are all good at acting out their roles, just some characters are written better and/or more appropriately for a particular actor.

Then Brian Bloom's Varric (He was better in DA 2, less serious, joked more) Mark Meer he is a nut case, great guy.
I just can't seem to pick just one out of so many great voices.

I would say the lovely and talented Ali Hillis aka Scout Lace Harding aka Liara T'soni. She's also the voice actress for the following: Lightning (FFXIII), Pedestrian (Saints Row IV), Karin (Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm), Jessica Sherawat (RE:R), Mizuki (Ninja Gaiden 3), Palutena (Kid Icarus), and Emina (FF Type O HD).
Those are just the ones I remember but she proves to have a vastly superior range when it comes to her voice and how she handles it based on her body of work.
Next would be Alix Wilton Regan, but not for her work as the Inquisitor but for her work as Traynor.
These are shortly followed up by Gareth David-Lloyd (Solas), Freddie Prinze Jr (Vega and Iron Bull), Allegra Clark (Lady Montilyet) and James Norton (Cole). Mr Norton on the end there gave his character an air of innocence but also a chilling performance through out the entire game.
As for other voice actors - actresses in the Bioware arena I'll tender the following for ME characters in no particular order
Steve Blum (our beloved tank bred Grunt), Keythe Farley (the spectacular Thane Krios), Seth Green (because who doesn't love Joker), Troy Baker (Because I love to hate Kai Leng), Jeff Paige (our hilarious Conrad Verner), Cara Pifko ( I
Kelly Chambers forever!) and of course Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale for bringing the stunning Shepards to life.
