It is an untested build because you didnt even know poison cloud didnt stack. You can only have 1 explosive toxin cloud active aswell. Ill test my builds for any irregularities so im not spreading misinformation. Your build simply isn't optimized. Its not bad by any means, but fire flask is all but useless here.

Actually you are right there. I didnt know. I know it doesnt stack normally, but in certain instances, it seems like it does. Have a look at my video and maybe you'll see the same thing. But yeah, normally - if you cast another cloud, the last one will dissipate.
As for fire flask, and we say you cant have more than one cloud up at a time - atleast you can use fire flask to cast several clouds around the area to poison more enemies, as the poison linger and you will then be able to dispose of the enemies quicker.
For example, the dozens upon dozens upon dozens of wraiths in demon? OHK on all of 'em. Poison weapon useless.
I'd skip demons completely. Not only are green wraiths immune to poison - those flying mages are too annoying. You save time just skipping demons alltogether.
I'd certainly watch it.

Now I do play a bit slow and sloppy, accidentally kill a few mooks and I waste a little time playing around on stage 5. I havent done this in a little while so excuse me. It wouldnt be the case if I hadnt already unlocked the portrait. You get the idea though. I've only added from stage 3 due to size.

Thanks for that, your clouds are doing quite a bit more damage yeh. The clouds dissapear and the poison wears off on a lot of the mobs before they are dead for me.

That is completely different than the way you described it. At least to me. I envisioned you doing something waaaay different. That's exactly what I do and you do exactly what I said about "choke points" despite you saying otherwise here. I'm thinking a communication breakdown.
Also I double checked and the reason Toxic Cloud gives two ticks is because of there being two daggers. I just swapped my off hand out for the basic inquisition dagger and you can see the damage changes on the second tick. If you only see one tick, at least from what I observed, it's because the target stepped outside the cloud and the poison wore off. With that being said, I honestly don't remember if Hunter's cloud gives two ticks or one. I think I remember two but I dunno. I did nearly all my poison grinding with Alchemist and only used poison on my hunter the other night for giggles.

Not really. The only difference is that I attack enemies along the way. I used to just run past them but I started getting the hang of getting poison kills with the poisoned daggers more efficiently. Also, if there was more archers on these three levels I would stand more behind walls and pillars at end of stage to just get everybody to approach me.

Yes, it is quite logical that it ticks twice due dual wielding. Though I swear that not only have I had more than one cloud up at the same time, but in some instances I have seen it tick quite a lot more frequently. Like having my screen filled with green numbers.
I'm still looking forward to penguins video to see if he can improve on my "untested" build with its useless fire flask. I cant really see anything else making it more efficient, but you never know.
Mind that you can probably only do it this way with a few promotions, good items and a high damage dagger. And thats only fair. It should be a challenge...

The main part of my strategy I guess was that I said I run to the end of level, which in a way I do.... I dont really care much for killing mooks on the way, its just to thin out the numbers a little bit and make it quicker. Also, standing behind pillars to lure enemies in to clouds. Only reason I dont do much of that here, is the maps and the fact that there are less archers in this particular game. I dont use any specific chokepoints really, I just go to the end and let the mobs run to me like lambs to the slaughter as the AI's pathing is quite predictable. Which is not really different at all from what I described. On stage 5 you just take advantage of the room, as to not get surrounded and to lure as many enemies in to one area as you can to get more out of your poison AOE.
Atleast thats what I tried to describe. I guess it's just a case of misintepreting accompanied with a bad explanation.
