Just spotted this, perhaps you already know?

 

If you move your menus out of the work area (to a second screen etc), double click on the selection tab for the menu and it is brought back to the work area. Double click again on the tab in the work area and it sends it back to where you had it.

 

I can do some images tonight if that would make is clearer. It's a useful discovery for me. It will help work flow no end.

Great find! I'm often terrified of moving things around too much because I fear I will not be able to restore the setup im used to. I had no trouble replicating this, but a visual aid my be welcomed by some.

I've done that by accident before, just because I spaz on the click--I've had it snap into the frame with the other stuff--and actually I like having it there--the free-floating windows seem to get buried and lost. The toolset interface has a lost of customability. I drink too much caffiene and spaz and weirdly improve it.
