Okay, so we have dual daggers as a rogue, but what about axes?
I saw this photo by an artist names Anson7 at Deviant Art (note while this picture is SFW, much of his other work is not)
and really that is just awesome. So why not give us dual axes as subset within the daggers?

Hmm not sure I know what you mean, but yeah. I mean it's just a simple graphic... they do have AOE style daggers so why not just graphically make one to be an axe instead.
The models for Bard's Honour and Fiona are in the game, though I haven't seen a schematic for them yet. I think they're random drops.

That would be cool. Make em for Dwarven Rogues only tho, and make em throwable as well, short range attack.

Dual axes would function significantly different than the currently existing subsets. It would be more chopping than slashing and stabbing.

No. I don't remember if you could in DA2, but it was definitely in Origins. You could equip whatever the hell you wanted, to whoever you wanted. They just had a Strength/Dexterity/Magic requirement.
I would like to see dual one-handed weapon the way you could have them in Dragon Age 1 / Origins in general honestly. It was painful to see the Arishok do that in DA 2 but not be able to do it.
I love playing Warriors who dual-wield. Rogues too, but daggers only is too limiting for me.
I see that this thread asks for Dual hand axes. So I am gonna give you my opinion about dual wielding.
One of the things that greatly attracted me to this years release, DAI, was the enthusiasm to play as a Dual Wielding Qunari Warrior who wields to swords, Like Tallis`s mentor, or Two axes, like The Arishok in DA2. That idea itself was a huge turn on for me. Seeing my Qunari inquisitor charge in with his swords or axes and beat the crap out of something. But it seems my interested died because a Warrior it seems, can not dual wield two weapons. I mean for Rogue, It CAN be acceptable. But for Warrior, not at all. Even on Rogue daggers look ridiculous on a Qunari and it looks like something that he picks his teeth with them. I too want dual wiedling being added to the game. (Dual wielding was absent in DA2 too, which I did not like either.)
What would I do with an axe that has two hands?
