hi,i'm at the point i've talked to Sera to travel for Verchiel and get the items for the Inquisiton,but as the travel starts,the small intro movie crashes to desktop and now i have the request to travel there but talking to Sera doesn't start it again.Is there another way to reach that place and complete the quest? Or is there a way to reload a previous cloud save? Otherwise i'll have to play 8 hours of game from my last manual save thanks for help!

Have you tried to repair the game? Is there an auto save before you talked to Sera?

no,how do i repair the game? unfortunately there's no autosave before talking to her,the only one should be on the cloud saves...my last save is 8 game hours before that :/ i trusted too much that cloud autosave

It's in Crestwood, along the far northern edge, west of the wyvern hole... but I'm pretty sure you can't get there from the southern part of the map. You may be out of luck, I'm sorry to say.

good to know i'll try to reach the place but  even the quest marker doesn't signal the spot

If you're still looking later on, I'll see if I can get a screenshot to show the approximate area on the map. Mind you, that doesn't mean you'll be able to actually reach it. I seem to remember that pocket as being cut off by mountains. But I hope for your sake you don't have to redo all those hours. I've gotten in the habit of quicksaving before every companion conversation because I've got a tendency to screw things up.

Ok seems that your advice worked, as i entered Crestwood the animatic started again and this time it didn't fail.Ty for the help!

Whew! That's good. For me, the companion quest that always glitches out is Dorian's Last Resort quest. Enter the tavern and the cutscene doesn't start. The tavern is just empty. I have to leave and go in again, and again, and again until it finally plays.

seems this game is still plenty of glitches,bugs,i just hope they're working to fix all,inquisition deserves it and above all,the players who bought it

It did this in my last playthrough. I made a save within the tavern, and reloaded, and it played out properly.
