the only multiplayer that would fit dragon age is the kind where your friends take control of your party members. or what D:OS did, if they can pull it off.

but multiplayer doesnt mean consoles. and consoles doesnt mean poor design choices. you can have a very strong, rpg focused, plot heavy console game and it has been done b4.

Seems like it. I have seem some reviews that are total bull**** so it is painfully obvious that some of them are corrupt. Like one that mentioned how he can't tell the difference between main quests and side quests

Bioware also defended that ending and still to this day acts like fans were only upset because it wasnt a happy ending rather than admiting they lied. I thought after that they would have changed but it doesen't seem like it.

The gaming sites are some of the most corrupt sites you can go to. I know a few who work in the industry, and a couple of developers. They told me flat out that they were embarrassed by getting top score and completely "wrong" reviews. One of them even told me that the game he had worked on wasn't a 9, like all the reviews said it was, it was a 7. Money got paid. Gifts. And a deals for getting to review big titles early + get "scoops" etc. The fact that he was so honest about it made me buy the collector's edition of the game on pure principle.

One of the devs actually said we wouldn't be able to tell a main quest from a side quest?

Multiplayer won't be going away anytime soon, the microtransactions make them alot of money. Some people have money to throw away and won't hesistate to buy those chests.

Co-op would be awesome.

Honesty in the gaming industry is becoming even more rare by the year. If Inquisition has taught me anything its to always wait for a sale, this was the first game in years that i bought on release day after being stupid enough to believe their lies.

@ lichg and everyone else

I was gonna start a topic named "Horses are useless" but then I took an arrow in my knee I've read your post. I couldn't have said it better.
I miss them all: a tool-kit, a storage chest, advanced tactics, enough slots for skills, female hair and eyebrows, etc., etc...

Instead I have horses and...armored nugs?!

Seriously, has anyone found a use for them (beside the cool-looking effect)?

I know that having horses can do two things: the Hat Trick and the Dismount-in-the right-spot-to-see-the-Land-of-Blurry-Trees, but I'm fairly sure that those are far from intended. So, other than adding glitches into the game what is their purpose? On the back of the horse you can't fight, explore or hear banters.

Not to mention the total inelegant solution they've found for the rest of the party.

It seems that somebody's child wished for a pony.

Oh, yes, if this game was truly an open world, then thank you for the mounts... but it is not! The "open world " was a lie... When they've announced DAI, I was expecting it to be like The Elder Scrolls games, but with a party. What a sweet foolish dream...

Although I'm thinking more and more that the title "Inquisition" has more to do with coercing people to play as BW wants ('cause they know better), than with the story, I continue to play it. Bits like the Wicked Grace cutscene or the design of Leliana rookery compensates for some of my disappointment.

But...it could've been perfect.

the patch notes, or at least some of em, are out. Thought they would actually add stuff instead of only fixing stuff.

Guess we are done here?

Edit: wont hold my breath for another patch again. Game is dead for me.

Pretty much i had a suspicion that there would be no DLC either, developing something for 5 systems is a nightmare. Ea should have learned from what happened with bf4.

See my review in my signature its another post in which you will hear some of the same stuff you read here but also read some other stuff like the multiplayer review i made, the thing is, its pretty clear this game has a LOT of problems funny thing is only real fans of the series see them, the fanboys, no those dudes have their big EGO blinding them  and are only hurting the entire game industry.

Pretty much, i just read the patch notes and was like... this cant be, this game is dead, i dont know how people can play it more than one playthrough they must have reaaaaaally low standards or are easy to entertain... like dogs.

I think your right about low standards, this game reeks of mediocrity.

Pretty much spot on..OP.

So many issues in this game really have marred the experience for me, Console choices and development choices really destroyed the game..

I wont even mention how poorly this game runs on PC.

Read all the pages of this thread so far. After DA2 I lost faith in Bioware, DA:I was a nice surprise since my expectations were lower than the Earth's core. All I can do is hope that the cool features they spoke about in interviews are going to be implemented later on.

However, I don't believe that Skyrim is any better. I remember the cool stuff they spoke about that was used to draw in consumers and made no appearance in the actual game. The lead designer (like whoever said it first) is a yes-man, the multiplayer screams EA's influence. When you think about RPGs, how often do you think about multiplayer?

I look to CDProjekt RED to make the best RPG of all time and I have faith that they will deliver, with Bioware on EA's leash any amazing ideas will get hammered into microtransactions and DLC (and that's only if they have potential to sell to the majority).

Pray that DA:I is far from finished but keep the disappointment in your hearts to save your soul from being shattered.

Unless those features are free then i couldn't care less. They should already be in the game so if they release those features as paid dlc I'm going to be done with bioware.

Never.

Agree completely. They even added on stuff to witcher 2 for free, they could have sold the extra stuff as dlc like so many others do but they did it for free which is why they have my respect. Hopefully they don't change.

Well. I was hoping for something i guess with this patch but what ever.

So yeah! I quit i guess. No reason to play a second time and no reason to give feedback and form well thought and not so well thought discussions.

You win bioware/ EA. You win this endurance test.
