Armor Coloring Not Consistent

This might seem a bit nit-picky, but I'm having trouble with some of the colorings that are produced from certain leathers. Great Bear Hide gives a very dark brown, almost black look. Everything looks great except for the boots. They don't match the rest of the armor. When I try the same armor with basic nug skin, it works perfectly. I understand they're in different lighting, but no matter where I am in the game, the Great Bear Hide boots don't show up as black like the rest of the armor. I'm just wondering if anyone else has run into similar issues.

Thanks

Glad to know that I'm not going crazy. It doesn't work for some of the really cool colors as well. I just tried it out with dragon scales and I still got nothing. It's a bright red color and it's not even there.  Bummer. I know there's lots of things to patch, but If I have to look at my character the whole time I'm playing, and My armor doesn't match I may just have an OCD Heart Attack!

It's just nice to know that I'm not going crazy. Another example:

Yup, this bug they really need to fix. Infact just disable the entire dust on armour thing.

Oh man that second example makes it it so obvious...

I didn't even notice this mostly because I play a warrior and hardly spend time on my mage/rogue characters.

This'll just make it harder to enjoy playing another class :x

I experienced the same thing, only with green armor and very light green boots in certain areas. It worked in caves but it looked horrible in well-lit areas like the Hinterlands, just like with you character.

Ugh, I hate this dirt/dust/mud crap... It really ruins the armor looks.

Hopefully all the topics that has been made throughout the past month will have caught their attention on this matter and they will disable it or add a toggle for it.

Last time I went outside irl, my entire lower half didn't get covered in dust the second I sat foot on a dirt path =P

Started a mage today...

I had the dirt-look in Haven, but thankfully not in the hinterlands. Although I fear other areas will not be so forgiving (I'm looking at you Western Approach!).

It's pretty horrible to see :(

Actually the western approach is not that bad, while sand does get onto the armor, it is no where near as badas the mud, dust or dirt.

Never noticed this on my playthroughs... Now I will have to go look.

At least it matches the cowl? Or the pants? Sorry man that sucks. I think I have T3 battlemage schematics with leg armor and arms armor attachment in Great Bear Hide and it doesn't do this. I'm 99% sure because the whole outfit is black on black. Maybe try adding some legs to it and see if it helps?
