( Wanted to share to see if anyone heard anything similar. I can't really hear anything but if its true. If played backwards it has a different meaning what does that really mean. I heard about people planting messages in peoples head if messages or songs played backwards or am I over reaching)

 

Reddit user sashimi_taco, who goes by the name Geek Remix on her YouTube channel, has created a video of the Inquisitor at the Temple of Mythal. During the scene where players are offered a choice, incoherent whispers can be heard echoing around the player. As it turns out, these incoherent whispers aren’t incoherent; they’re actually reversed to sound incoherent.

 

Although there’s still some dispute over the exact words being heard, what can be made out is a game-changer.

"Go to him, Dirth…"

"Mythal speaks the calling…"

"Halt… Blind…" or “The call is sweet, from the blood…”

"He is bound to the same…"

"Travel far…"

"Don't speak…"

"She speaks the truth…"

"She's fallen, lost…" or “She saw the lost…”

The big news here is the line "Mythal speaks the calling…" Mythal is an elven deity, however the calling – a song sang by Archdemons to call darkspawn to their side – has previously been linked with the Old Gods. What this means is an elven God, of sorts, could also be an Old God, resulting in two religious beliefs crossing over with one another

It may also be Dirth, as the elves call the Exhalted Planes, Dirthavaren or, it could mean ask for knowledge. Go to him and ask for knowledge. Go to him in Dirthavaren, Dirthavaren is where we met Solas's friend who had been forced to becom a demon. Is that where Solas went after the battle? Is there something there we have yet to discover? DLC perhaps?

Corypheus can apparently speak (or at least manipulate) the calling too, hence the whole Grey Warden arc at Adamant.  Doesn't make him an Old God...... Or does it?  Dun Dun Dun! (but seriously this is not a new power).

no, it's definitely Solas taking over her soul/whatever (with her prior knowledge, sort of), someone  found design notes in the code for that scene.

Well, Cory is interesting.

 

Archdemon - speaks to darkspawn, causes the calling. So does Cory.

Archdemon - when killed can survive death by moving its soul to another blighted creature. So can Cory appaently but, if the creature is a Grey Warden it kills the archdemon once and for all, not so for Cory, or does it? Dumat was the arch Demon of the first blight yet Cory calls to him as if he still exisits. Does Cory host all or some part of Dumat?

 

If so, then are the Wardens wrong about how to kill an archdemon once and for all? Also if you did the ritula with Morrigan, we know the old god soul survived, minus the corruption. So does a warden only kill the corrupted part of the old god soul and not the old god? If so, then Dumat could have taken Cory as the only available host and, thus is still something of an archdemon, in more or less human rather than dragon form.

 

Now, assuming that is true, exatly what becomes of Dumat's soul when Quizzy ends Cory? It is unlikely but possible that Quizzy now hosts and uncorrupted Dumat and oh boy would that be the ultimate twist and, one heck of a story. The very on that was out to stop Cory from becoming a God now all but rules Thedas and technically IS a god.

This is Flemeth from the previous two games. In this game, Flemeth's story comes to a head -- she knew that Solas would summon her, and that he would need to steal her power to further his plans. She knew that because they are both elven gods...yet Solas has slept for a thousand years and his power dwindled, while she was killed long ago and a spark escaped from her into the body she now holds. She has nurtured that spark, and knew that Solas would need it. He was once her oldest friend, but she knows in his drive to save the elven people he will kill anyone -- even her. She intends to let him have the power, so long as she can pass the essence of her god-hood onto Morrigan, a gift Flemeth had always planned for her daughter yet one Morrigan misunderstood as hostile possession.

^Also, if you watch the scene again - it's very apparent that Solas is the one doing whatever's going on.  Flemeth's expression goes from a warm smile to shock, and what appears to be pain as her body decays.  Solas' expression remains constant throughout.  His face is solemn throughout.  You would expect if she was forcing her spirit upon him, he would show some sort of reaction to it all.

 

 

As for OP - check out Lady Insanity's theory regarding the Fade.  It actually plays pretty well to what people think Mythal (or whoever) says in this scene.
