The instructions say to match the symbols. But matching the symbols doesn't always link them.

I finally managed to get the first safe unlocked. I matched up all but the last 2 symbols fairly quickly this time. But the last two transister symbols I had to keep clicking and clicking and clicking (alternately) until I finally got them to connect. What am I missing?

I believe you need to click on the second one while the first is still active and it's only active for a second or so, so you have to be quick.

the mini game is simple 'in principle' but a harder core ***** than SuZe 'in practice'.

With a mouse the mini game is really quite easy, with a x box controller I'd imagine it would be a royal pain in the back side.

Thanks. Yeah, I've opened another safe or two and that is exactly right. If you have a wide screen you don't have much time to go all the way across the screen.

They're right. Once you click you have 1.5 seconds to click the second circuit or it resets. Just have to have a fast mouse hand I guess.

You have about 3 secs to make a link.

I had that happen to me on one safe too. I think Trinity is right about being quick. It will just take some practice.

I LOVE this system so much better then ME's xbox and PC's minigames. *Cheer BioWare!*

Yeah I do prefer these minigames to the decryption wheels from ME1, connecting wires, finding pieces of code looks more immersive than just bringing an arrow to the center of the wheels.

On the other hand - might be I am still not far in the game - this system looks way easier than in ME1, even too easy. I guess timers will be shorter as we advance.

Yeah, I botched the first one I did really badly until I figured out that the clicking with the mouse did nothing.  One extra line of instructions ("Use the WASD/Arrow keys to move and spacebar to select") would've been very helpful.
