I just downloaded ME2 off of Steam and am having one hell of a time trying to import my chars. I hear it's supposed to be on the "launcher." Although I have no clue what this means exactly. Right clicking simply brings up the list where I can view properties and all the rest, and I don't see on the in-game main menu.
At the risk of sounding stupid, can someone walk me through this step by step, or at least direct me where exactly this "configuration utility" is.

Go to My Games
Double Click on Mass Effect 2....
You should be prompted with a launcher that says Play Game and some other options including configuration utility.
Open the configuration utility
Go to ME1 import
Point it to your save games
Done
Even easier go to
\\\\steam\\steamapps\\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries (or try Tools I forget) and there is a file called ME2Config.exe or similar. Double click and perform 3-5
