Hi guys,

I was hoping to romance Sera with my male elven rogue, but just discovered that she's lesbian :P

In this process, I parred off what I think was a critical moment to romance Josephine (on the balcony in the Skyhold, when she's moaning about the other companions). Have I now lost the opportunity to romance her? Or are there more opportunities/ways?

Thanks :)

Keep talking to her, you can flirt with her more after her personal quest.

Josie's romance won't be locked in until after you're done with her personal quest. In the meantime, work on flirting with her until she gives you her quest.

This advice is useless but I think Sera's rejection (it's not you, it's just you) is one of the best and most hilarious ever.

You should be fine even if you never take a flirt option until the end of her first personal quest, since that's what I did with my first character and it worked.

Sweet - will just crack on then. I'm not too far into the main story, only just got to the Skyhold. Damn, this game is massive.

I got the start of Josephines romance before I did her quest without flirting with her at all. Very annoying

That's alright, Cassandra accused my female Inquisitor of flirting with her when she never did such a thing.

Oh, I thought I was the only one with overreacting Cass! My fem!quisitor flirted with her once and I still got her rejecting cutscene :'I

But you go after that cutepie OP, Jossie is one of the easiest companions to romance with any race or/and gender so you got no worries. Good hunting!

At least if you romance Josie you don't have to worry about approval and doing sh*t just to make the LI happy...

Then you should be definitely fine then, for unless you play a human character I don't think you can flirt with Josephine until after reaching Skyhold or maybe missing one chance at it.

I like that, after some point, the flirt option becomes the "affectionately tease your buddy option".

It's something I really like about this version of DA for some reason.

"Yes, I'm flirting with you because I like you, not because I want to bang you."

Cassandra and Bull even do this/talk about it. She's like "No, I don't want you to stop, so long as we know it won't go anywhere." "Understood, Seeker."
