I know this forum is about the first one and bioware didn't make the second one but I don't feel like going to another forum. So any ways I always wounded what happened on dxun when you talked to your party member after you spilt in to two teams, and stuff happens then you get back to the ship then you can say something like something looks wrong did something happened on dxun.

Well the Sith Lords were trying to do a Dark Ritual to either use the Dark energies of that Temple or summon Freedon Nadd. Keep in mind that his body is entombed there and still have dark energies within his body. Freedon Nadd has extensive knowledge of the dark side, so Darth Nihilus would love to Study under him.

 

 

So either idea can be consider to be disturbing.

Well Potentially bringing Freedon Nadd from the Dead would be a interesting yet disturbing idea. I haven't play that scene in awhile but I do suspect also that they could be collecting the Dark Side Energy to improve their ability in the force. Another Idea, that the Sith Lords are using the Dark Ritual to control the Dxun beasts during the Assault on Onderon. It does make sense that you will face both Dxun Beasts at Onderon and at the Assault on the Freedon Nadd's Temple.

So it was just to collect dark side energy or to control the beasts. I don't see how that could really disturbed anyone who went to the temple. I'm sorry if I'm not really understanding it, it's been a long time since I played kotor 2
