Among Bioware games I've played, it's 2nd, 4th for all graphics games I've played. (can't be even close to fair and include MUDs or games I've written myself.)

Neverwinter Nights

Dragon Age: Inquisition/Dragon Age: Origins

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Mass Effect 2

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Mass Effect 3 (higher up if you count multiplayer)

Baldur's Gate/Baldur's Gate 2

Dragon Age 2

Mass Effect 1

Worth noting that, objectively, SWTOR plummets all the way below DA2. My (considerable) time spent in that game was mostly due to the guild I was in.

It should also be said I've enjoyed all those games.

I never understood the love for that game, Dragon Age: Origins is much better imo. I hated the peek-a-boo gameplay where you just went into cover, shot, then back into cover. They should've copied Gears of War a little more with dives or maybe crawling to change it up. I also hated how you can revive squad mates but they couldn't revive you.

Hm...

Origins

SWtOR (yeah you heard me)

ME2

KotOR

DA:I

ME1

Jade Empire

DA2

Awakening

ME3

That's all the ones I've played.

Now that I think about it, if it wasn't for the ability to choose my race, I'd rank DA:I just below DA2.

Keep in mind that I love all of these games, which makes them really hard to rank.

This is my first Bioware game so in regards to your post its #1. It's just shy of making my top 10 games of all times list though.

Though I'm thinking of giving KOTOR another shot, I got halfway through the first planet and just felt bored. Probably my fault for playing KOTOR2 just beforehand, and I was really annoyed I had to wait to get Jedi abilities.

Aside from DA Origins, this my favorite Bioware title.

I was looking for the next big Rpg to play on my Xbox one and inquisition looked promising. I got to say, the game was really good. So good in fact that I may go back and play the other two just to get a better feeling of the lore.

Though I do not dislike the ME series, it personally doesn't do much for me compared to fantasy evidently. Further evidence, I couldn't finish KOTOR.

* NWN - the DM, Player, and Toolset Clients allowed this game remains influential to this day.
* DAO - great characters; great story.
* ME1 - am a fan of this tale, and prefer pre-thermal clip system.
* ME3 - almost every new turn has a story worth telling, and Citadel DLC is brilliant
* DAI - the MMO world of Thedas for solo players.
* DA2 - not as polished as the other DA games, but a great decade long tale of the Champion of Kirkwall.
* KOTOR - brilliant story, but mini-games prevented me from choosing to replay this game.
* SWTOR - eight tales and a Galaxy of worlds to explore. Was able to play solo and complete three stories before being unable to progress End Game materials.
* ME2 - great story, but the thermal clips and choice to go heavy with profanity made this a single campaign for me.

and Icewind Dale 1&2 and NWN2 aren't either, one is by Black Isle and the other by Obsidian.

For me:

Mass Effect

Dragon Age: Origins by a very small margin

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 2

Knights of the Old Republic

Baldur's Gate

Dragon Age 2

SWtoR

I'm currently half way through Jade Empire so I didn't rank it, but at the rate it's going it'll be fighting Origins for the #2 spot.
