How do you get in there? I think I got the name wrong. It's Din'an Hanin.

If it's the Emerald Graves, it's Elgar'nan Bastion, you have to talk to the one of the elves outside the tomb. He rejected offers of help. If you speak to the Keeper of the clan he belongs to at Exalted Plains, it will open a war table mission in which inquisition soldiers can be sent to aid the elves.

If you are talking about the Lost Temple of Dirthamen on the world map, it is opened by collecting four (I think) Scattered Glyphs at the Exalted Plains. Once collected, a war table mission to research the glyphs will be available. Once the research is done, the location is given on the world map to which you can go to at any time. There is no additional requirement to enter.

Sorry this took a while for a response, had to find a saved game that was in the right place then test out whether it was Here Lies the Abyss, Here Lies the Abyss and Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts or just Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts.

I have done everything you can before doing Here Lies the Abyss and Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts and the War Table Operation "Investigate Elven Ruins" (5 Power) to open up Elgar'nan's Bastion / Din'an Hanin is still not available.  By everything I mean I have cleared/completed all of the quests, landmarks etc. from Emerald Graves and Exalted Plains as well.

I know that after I went and did Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts it then appeared on my War Table.

... and let me clarify what I mean by "I know".  When you're reading garbage on wiki's or some other sites and people say I know, what they mean is "well I think" or "well I'm assuming" or "well I really don't know but this sounds right", when I'm telling you "I know" I mean I've just gone and tested it for you and can confirm this is what works.  Just so there is not confusion about it, as I see "I know" used by a lot of people to claim fact about this or that in DA:I when in the fact is they have their head up their a*s and don't know what they are talking about and because of that they send poor unsuspecting players on wild goose chases.

As an aside, being one of the more seasoned vets on the board notice how OG did not say "I know" he just told you off the top of his head what he thought and pointed you towards something to try and in the second part he said "I think" not "I know".

This all being said there may be some outlier type of pre-requisite out in the Exalted Plains or in the Emerald Graves, but as I said, I had finished both of those zones in the save that I was using to test.  Hope this helps.

  Quick, both of us should have done one thing. Google it. Or actually, if anyone is not sure how a quest is triggered, google it and if really stuck, scream for help here. :P

The answer is right there in DA Wiki. Kudos for taking the time to load your game and find it. :)

Honestly though, given how woefully inaccurate the wiki's are on this stuff, STILL, I have a level of mistrust for them that will probably never abate.  At least not when it comes to DA:I.  Glad at least that was right.  Of course there's another one that tells you that you that you have to finish Halamshiral and find some landmark to get it to open...  So the first part is cryptic but correct, the second part, just completely wrong.  LOL.

I've gotten to the point where if I can't find a saved game and test it, I don't trust it.
