So I just recieved my horse. Am I the only one who's heart sank when they realised there would be horse riding in DAI? Personally, I enjoy being on foot and not on a mechanically clunky horse who can do all sorts of impossible manouvers. Jumping down cliffs, riding up and down tents. I feel like because there's the option I probably should ride my crazy horse, but taking it slow was suiting me just fine.

 

In every RPG I have played that includes horse riding, no one has got it right. Gaming horses are all the same. Glitcy. Crazy. Unbeleivable.

 

That being said, I am totally enjoying DAI. The characters and converstaion is fantastic and I just love how my inquisitor is such a stiff... hillarious. I'm finding normal mode quite easy at the moment, so will probably have to swap to nightmare for a bit more of a challenge.

Play red dead redemption. Best horse ever. Probably one of the few good ones. Dai horse isn't terrible. It's just not fantastic by any stretch.

Of course! Red Dead Redemtion didn't come to mind -Best game horse by far. We need decent horses in Fantasy RPGs... or none at all would be find by me.

When I heard we were getting mounts, I had a meltdown. Of excitement. I knew it would be glitchy, I knew the animation would be wonky (nobody seems to be able to animate horses) but HOT DAMN WHO CARES BECAUSE POONIIIESSSS.

I suppose I aggree with you when it comes down to it... hillarious inquisitor on hillarious horse. To easy to love it.
