I love how I run into these guys in the middle of no where and we get attacked by a roaming group of baddies and they just stand there like nothing is going on while a huge fight is going on. WTF?

Their loot is also WORTHLESS. They must have been going to have a bigger function but it got cut.

All of the loot in Inquisition is terrible.  Crafting is too good.  Random loot is too bad.  The game has definitely lost that sense of trying to find good treasure, because there is none to be had.

Which frankly is one of the most nonsensical parts of an RPG. Why is old garbage in a cave better than the material crafted by the most modern technology around? There's a lot of weird veneration of the past in RPGs.

I'm all for good quest rewards, but loot always bothered me.

I totally agree with you that they should or better put something worthwhile in them every once in a while. But I personaly have no problem with that. Even in previous games whaever I`d found in chests all around the game would go straight to the next merchant I saw. Not because I did not like what was found in the chests, but because I had to mind sets.

1 was looking at the items in a chest, no matter how low in value (the higheer the number the more they worth though), I looked at them as an easy way of rising my money. So I did nnot care what was in the chests, I just took them and sold them right after that. even if it was something good. why? ou see in 2.

2 was my approach to gear, weapon, etc. First, I always looked MATCH and wear a COMPLETE set of gear or sword. What I am saying is that I would wear all parts of Juggernot armor for example and with ita SILVERITE sword. Not one part of each armor to get multiple bonuses. Also I wanted to balance my party members. Meaning if I was wearing tier 4 armor, everyone in the party would wear a tier 4 armor unless I have not collected or gotten a tier 4 amor for someone. And my weapon would be tier 4 too and even my acessories. So the party looked more balanced and better handled and strong imo. And usually what were found in the chests, almost always, were unique item with no set. So I`d well them.

A simple question if you may. Which company is stronger?

company one: One wearing tier 6 armor and gear, one wearing tier5, one tier 4 and two tier 3.

Company B: all wearing tier or all wearing tir 4 or 5 armor and gear?

to be honest, i like more to collect things for good equip instead of being at the mercy of a rng system. and there is good loot to be found in the game, but mostly behind bigger quests (shards, ocu-somethings, etc) or hard enemies (dragons) and thats totally fine. while i can make every dropequip to money or get upgrades out of it, the mats would be totally worthless when random drops would be better than crafting (most mmo games do this). so in my opinion its the better way to have good loot behind bigger quests and a worthy crafting system instead of every deer can drop you powerfull shiny items

I'm kinda glad there's nothing useful in these chests because most of the time I can't interact/open them at all :s
