Has anyone else experience an armour looking different on one inquisitor than it does on another? On a new playthrough i just got the Superior enchanter armor from the mage schematics perk, primarily because I liked the way it looked in the preview on a different character.

 

So imagine my surprise when I go to craft it an instead of getting this

 

I get this

 

Obviously I knew that it would have the book insetad of the lockpicks, but the entire leather/scarf portion under the coat has been replaced with scale mail.

Previewed it again on a human mage, and it has the same appearance as with the rogue.

 

Is this unique to elf mages, or has something weird happened?

The armor look adjusts to whatever class you are playing as far as I've noticed.

I think there are also small differences based on race as well
