So I am still reeling from the romance between my Hawke and Fenris and after finding out that Fenris will only be getting a small cameo in da3 I can't help but wonder. Will they incorporate our romances in future DLC or future game content in general?

 

The way I see it is this. Players going through the game develop connections and veterans would appreciate having the option to continue past romances. At the very least, not have them die off completely. 

 

Is this just me or does anyone else feel this way? It's truly not a big deal, but I would certainly appreciate an encore of my favorite DA character.

I agree, DA 2 was one of the worst RPG games I've ever played. It was long and boring and the plot at least to me was very confusing.

I know many people didn't care for DA2 (although I didn't really have anything against it and enjoyed it). I think it would be a good idea for them to release DLC at the very least. Otherwise they aren't doing the companions that many of us love justice. What's the point in devoting dialogue, time, and energy into characters that are dead to us afterwards?

Um, I understand your desire but why would they? They have a new game with a new protagonist and new companions. If they would create a dlc it will most likely feature current companions. Besides, just incorporating DA2 companions into dlc would be bad for the following reasons:
1) unfair to people that want dao companions and romances
2) hawke will have to be made protagonist of such dlc and people will cry for the warden even more than they already do
There are too many factors to consider and I daresay they are too difficult/expensive, not worth the bother to implement. Why focus on the past if they have a whole bunch of new cool companions to explore.
I like DA2, but its time is done. Best to leave it as it is.

For me this is true too, I really didn't like moany and miserable Fenris much when I romanced him either so am perfectly happy to never see him again, the same goes for most of the cast in DA2.

Given that Fenris can be completely avoided in DA2 (which shrinks the market for said DLC), amd further given his variety of possible fates, this idea doesn't seem viable.

Er, to enjoy that particular game maybe? This isn't Mass Effect, each DA game swiches time or location or both. Move on...

I didn't use him for anything in DA2. I did enjoy the game, but I can't say there are any characters I really miss. I would probably miss Varric if he weren't in Inquisition. Merril was kind of fun, but I will get along without her.

 

I am, however, still mad they didn't put Kelly Chambers in the ME3 DLC with romance content. Go figure. I guess you can't always predict what people will care about.

Since he can be dead or a slave in a lot of world states, it's not practical to give a minor character an expanded role.

DA4 will probably be set in Tevinter so he can show up over their instead.

The compagnions are awfull enough in DAI on there own.  No need to add more horible characters.

Fenris is one of the worst things to happen to Dragon Age. That Final Fantasy character should not be allowed existance in Thedas. It was a mistake to put him in DA2 and it will be a mistake to put him in future games or dlc. His place is in the Final Fantasy games not Dragon Age.

I wouldn't want to deny anyone their favorites, so sure. Why not. I'd hate to have him forced into the party though. I've had more than enough of that moody little anime weasel. It's too bad because his VA was great.

Man I loved Fenris.  A plague on the haters.  Although, seeing what the elves look like in DA:I I'm almost hesitant to see how they would butcher his appearance in some DLC for this game.
