So I am still reeling from the romance between my Hawke and Fenris and after finding out that Fenris will only be getting a small cameo in da3 I can't help but wonder. Will they incorporate our romances in future DLC or future game content in general?

 

The way I see it is this. Players going through the game develop connections and veterans would appreciate having the option to continue past romances.

 

Is this just me or does anyone else feel this way? It's truly not a big deal, but I would certainly appreciate an encore of my favorite DA character.

Not really. Maybe throw him an anti-slave Tevinter war table operation? That would put him on the level of Zevran.

No, it would make more sense if he has a role in DA4 where the story will mostly likely incorporate the Tevinter Imperium. Same could be said for Isabella and her whole deal with the Qunari. Let the dlc focus of DAI cast and be done with it.

Yeah bring back Isabella! i'd like DA4 to allow me to have morrigan/Isabella or Isabella/Cassandra or all 3 in a group with me , my little Harem so too speak

 

Would be cool if we could get all our 3 previous favorite LI in a game party together. Can you imagine Alistair and Cullen in a group?

 

But i wouldn't cry if they added new companions , just make them interesting and by interesting i mean flawed or distinctive personallities.

I know many people didn't care for DA2 (although I didn't really have anything against it and enjoyed it). I think it would be a good idea for them to release DLC at the very least. Otherwise they aren't doing the companions that many of us love justice. What's the point in devoting dialogue, time, and energy into characters that are dead to us afterwards? Just for the sake of the enjoyable gameplay I suppose.

If Fenris got one, then Merrill would have to have one, and Isabela, and Anders, and... you get the idea. Varric mentions Fenris, among others, and that's about all any of the DA2 cast got. I'm OK with that.

I think at this point he might just be more murderous than emo, especially if he romanced Hawke. I don't really care to get any of the old faces to actually show up, but I wouldn't mind seeing some suckers getting their hearts crushed by lyrium ghost fist.

I love Fenris, my Hawke banged him, but please no. He does not need his own DLC.

 

I was thinking that they may have a DLC with the Wardens, and if you saved Hawke, there maybe a reunion in Anderfels, considering Varric is going to tell everyone where Hawke is. The whole gang back together for a bit(or whoever is left of the whole DA2 gang). But a whole DLC dedicated to just the romances. No.

It would be interesting to see him interact with Dorian, but if any of the DA2 companions should come back it would be Merrill, imo.

 

She spent several years working on an Eluvian (and one the exact same as hers has been spotted in the Eluvian crossroads), she's deep into elven history and culture, she's familiar with blood magic, which opens story possibilities the Inquisitor's group doesn't have. Her Eluvian even had the Blight, which raises some interesting questions. She's possibly the lover of the Champion of Kirkwall, and old friend to the Hero of Ferelden. Plus, I'd love to see her interacting with Morrigan or Solas. So many possibilities.

Would I mind it? No.  I just wouldn't want any "Omega" type DLC that has no bearing on anything from the main game (NOTE: Omega was good, but it felt like more of a demo for the Montreal studio instead of being closely related to ME3.  It was the odd duck).

 

Frankly, the only character I would truly love to see return in Merrill.

He's my favorite, and him and male!mage!Hawke are my OTP so of course I'd say yes. But unless we have a DLC involving Hawke + Hawke's LI (let's go to Weisshaupt/rescue Hawke from the Fade, bitches!) really he'd need a more substantial reason to be brought back.

 

Of course given what we've found out about lyrium in DA:I some interesting things could be done with him.

An interesting character for that game, but for the most part I would be okay with not seeing him ever again.    I called him "broody" and he sat in his mansion moping for 90% of my DA2 playthroughs.

I love Fenris but I really don't see why he should be featured in a DLC in this game. Bioware should keep on creating new characters for us to love.
