Does anyone think Bioware should incorporate Fenris in a later DLC or expansion?

So I am still reeling from the romance between my Hawke and Fenris and after finding out that Fenris will only be getting a small cameo in da3 I can't help but wonder. Will they incorporate our romances in future DLC or future game content in general?

The way I see it is this. Players going through the game develop connections and veterans would appreciate having the option to continue past romances.

Is this just me or does anyone else feel this way? It's truly not a big deal, but I would certainly appreciate an encore of my favorite DA character. =(

I wouldn't mind seeing him again.

As for continuing romances, my Warden and Leliana are still "together" in Inquisition, just physically separated by circumstance. Something similar in the future, showing that Hawke and whoever they were with are still an item, is probably likely. But I doubt it'll be the focus of any future storylines, just something along the lines of "Nothing can part Hawke and I in our hearts".

I think he's busy at a lincoln park concert.

Just kidding, I murdered him in DA2.

Every. Time.

I'm pretty sure DA 2 won't be having any more DLC or expansions.

Perhaps they will have them in a future DLC; I won't spoil anything since it concerns with a major plot and the ending of Inquisition, but there is potential for a cameo of DA2 characters, especially in an expansion.  Pretty sure a lot of people would be overjoyed :D

Fenris is one of the more interesting characters, especially lore-wise. I would be very interested in a quest where we find out what spells were used on him to turn into that fighting machine.

Still can't believe he killed that tribe of Shadow Warriors that saved him. Talk about institutionalized.

Fenris would be an ideal candidate for an anti Tevinter campaign, a face to impersonal slave soldiers one would end up fighting, to finally reach a Magister. I wonder how Dorian and Fenris would interact.

From what I played I feel like Fenris played a small vague roll, even romancing him seemed like cut off and leaving me like what happens next? They could do a lot with him and I'd like to see him more, I fancy him and his mysteriousness.

To be fair, the whole of DA2 feels like a setup for a larger story for the characters and Hawke. Looks like it didn't come to pass, and the story is ok on its own, but still woulda been nice to have an epic tale for these characters that have been so well defined over the seven years of the game. Its the first time Bioware has really allowed players to define characters so deeply in game.

Why would I want Bioware to incorporate a DLC/Expansion of Fenis when hes right back to where he belongs? Serving his Tevinter Magister master Danarius? I guess it wouldn't hurt seeing my Hawke taking his offer to take a tour to the Arcanist Hall in Minrathous.

Oh look, another "mage rights" activist. All for freedom, but only when it comes to mages. "A mage and a hypocrite" looks like a defining trait of some.

I don't really understand what people see in Fenris or Vivienne and Anders to be honest, they were quite horrible people in my play throughs of Dragon Age.

Damn right I'm a mage rights activist. The Irony is that Fenris doesn't appreciate the very freedom that he so desires for himself. Yes Fenris is very much of a hypocrite. For as long as hes protected by Hawke everyone else can go eat bricks and bark at the moon.

Fenris certainly didn't respect Emile de Launcet's freedom so why should Hawke respect his when his former master comes to take him back home?

So you don't find that thinking of the very idea of one person being legally owned by another as acceptable, makes your whole freedom-fighter stance moot?

No because it will create an epic rage storm. If they do that people will want their favorites return as well.

They will only do something if it fits the overall story or they won't do it at all. My guess is they wont be doing that.

I would like to see Fenris come back as a charismatic guerrilla leading former slaves in an effort to topple the magocracy.

But that is unlikely even with DLC.

Quite unlikely they will bring Fenris back. Main reason is because Gideon Emery - voice of Fenris - have already voiced Samson in DAI. And assuming we can't kill Samson... very unlikely he come back.

Gideon Emery voiced Samson in DA2 as well, so this isn't a valid point. Though I agree that it's unlikely they will bring Fenris back in any significant role - too many variables of his fate.

Samson in DAI is a very important character. It would be very easy to notice the same voice actor if Fenris will appear in game as well.

I think whoever voiced Cassandra also voices Fenris' sister.

His combined dialogue in DA:I is 2 minutes at best, he's had way more lines in DA2 and nobody complained. Their pitch were different from the beginning. Also - Samson somewhat important only in 1/2 playthroughs.

Honestly, I think an encounter with Fenris is something that Dorian desperately needs - someone who suffered slavery at Tevinter's hands. If Dorian's going to be the Redeemer he was advertised as, he needs to be shaken out of his ideas of slavery being this thing that may not really be so bad. To attempt redeeming Tevinter, he needs to address ALL its ills, not just the blood magic. Since we the audience know Fenris, that makes him someone who has the narrative strength to speak out to him.

And if this leads to all the DA2 romances (and maybe even Zevran) getting cameos in DLC, I say GREAT. Fenris, Anders, and Merrill SHOULD have been in the base game, and if we have them, why NOT find a place for Isabela and Zevran, or even give Sebastian an appearance as well?
