Am I the only one who feels like the hairstyles in this game are complete crap? There are maybe 2 I am okay with, and there is only one i will use. There are a decent amount of hairstyles yes, but nearly Half of them are some form of bald/shaved, and that's for the females. I am completely disappointed with the customization aspect of this game to be honest though...

Yeah I'm fairly disappointed with the hair choices. Like you say, there's only a couple I can look at for dozens of hours of game.

No TRUST me when it tell you you're not the only one disappointed with the hairstyles. Dont even get me started on the Qunari hairstyles(if you can call them that) and lousy set of hair available for femInquisitors.

Have they made any indication of adding new ones? or allowing people to mod in their own?

There is no official statement about modding from Bioware but modders still love the game so they're making their own toolset from scratch.
It's still in alpha : http://daitools.free...s.org/index.php
Some mods are already out : http://www.nexusmods...geinquisition/?
Hairstyles will come later since they're mesh and the toolset can't handle them yet.
But don't despair, Adela prepared some for the day that the toolset will be ready, here an example :
Please give your support and hugs to the modders ![]()
If you know anyone who can help with the coding, please pass the message.
There're still a lot to deciphire and port to the game : http://daitools.free...types-t223.html

Ha! Yes we've all noticed, but you kind of just note it and move on (well some of us do). I must admit it took me a while to get used to the visuals (they were very underwhelming from the beginning on the 360) but I got used to them after a few hours. Now the game looks mostly fine to me except for during cutscenes.

I'm running on a brand new PC build (built a month ago) that cost me 1700 dollars, and i was udnerwhelmed as well.

Trust me even a 5000.00 PC doesn't help the hair. None I care for on females at all so, if doing female helms are displayed - beats the hair. One for male except Quinari, then none again.

although i dont care at all, the hair styles are bad. my wife is sad about this.

I can only use one hair style for guys, but I'm not really bothered as I could only use the Alistair cut in DAO and DA2.
I would love DLC that includes new hair options though. I'm fairly certain they will deliver.

I just bought a 2560x1440 monitor and the thing that drives me crazy is that you have these awesome skin textures, moist, smooth, looks like you can almost reach in the screen and touch it. However, you then have these horrendous hair textures and you're thinking how did these both come from the same engine.
Ouch.

I don't give two shits about how "real" they look, or their bloody physics; they just look utterly ridiculous. It literally confuses me how the staff at bioware thought these hairstyles were going to be liked.

Hair in this game are terrible. Not even a bit of taste in choosing those. I have seen way better hair on PS2.

Male ones are acceptable, though not great. Female though - yuk. Just one I could tolerate. Wanted something long, and most are very masculine.

I think the hatred of those ghastly hairstyles is universal my dear.
(I made a thread about it a year and a half ago but no one listened! "It's just pre-alpha" they said, but I warned you all and you didn't listen!)

If not, I can start a new playthrough now. If they are going to do something, then I would wait. Wish they would say one way or the other.
I will upgrade my computer ( currently meets only the minimum requirements) and buy tge pc version, when we get official word on modding.

Aren't they the same? Pretty sure I could give my male fabulous braids and bangs. I think they gave up when they did Florianne's hair too, and just picked from CC. Fail on her fancy orlesian shaved undercut. Blegh to all of them

These modders are amazing! I wish them the best of luck! I can't wait for the day that these styles of Adela's are possible. I wish I had some skills in computer stuff to help but I sure can keep my fingers crossed and pray too.
I really really really want new hairstyles so badly!! The character creator is fantastic but the hairstyles let it down big time. I would also be happy to pay for dlc or mods with new hair. ![]()

All BioWare games have terrible hairstyles. I think Inquisition was a tad better compared to its predecessors, non-qunari females had even two pretty good haircuts lmao

I don't mind the short hair, pony tail and bun for the female (they are the only three I actually use for them) but I do miss the option to have spiked hair for the guys - we had it in Origins and II so I don't understand why we didn't get it this time round.
Or why the guys and the female didn't have separate hair files. (isn't that like Skyrim though - same hair for different genders?)
I was disappointed with the Qunari hairstyle. I was hoping for something like the tarot card but ended up only really liking the hair that ties up in the back (looks like a weird twist...)
