Awesome.. I just picked up a decent Greatsword last week that I can use for this weekends challenge.

Just tried Katari for the first time with greatsword and I loled the whole mission how he was rubber-banding with Charging Bull around the map, sometimes I could not stop him!! :)

 

So I stopped laughing as soon as I took this boy to Threatening at level 8 which is level I rock it with on Necro. It went exactly how described here:

 

*gets a high colonic from the demon commander, now he is at peace in the fade with all those dead wyverns*

 

 

 

I guess it did not help much I picked Grappling Chain/Hook? and constantly mistook it for Charging Bull. btw he really does not stop sometimes .. that is crazy :)

Nice weekend event with server acting up now. Can't even get or buy any chest. Upgrading abilities is almost impossible.

meh. I got a pretty decent rare 1h sword and rare ring outta my two chests. I have to admit, the freakin' elemental portion took me longer than I thought it would, though.

I got a Magister Ice staff and crafting materials. Mostly crafting materials.

That were 5 chests of disappointment. Get on my level, scrubs.

Neither does spirit damage.  Elementalist is the way to go for this one.

I started with my Alchemist thinking the Elemental Mines would do the trick, but it didn't work all that well...

Just moved over to my Keeper and destroyed everything with my Staff of the Veil and Chain Lightning.

Yep. Two of em. The best thing I got was a regular frost rune.

I see they have added in a notification to the main menu to let people know the even is on.

 

But anywho, i got myself a nice dagger out of one of my chests (agony, i think)and a fairly ok bow out of the other(grunsmanns bow) so atleast i got 2 uniques.

I view the weekend challenges as free prestige points with an added bonus of two chests, so I like them. Two runs and their done. It's actually quicker to get than a regular large chest, so my expectancy of the loot is not very high.

The thing that really annoys me though, is that you cant choose to not see that challenge window every time you leave a game or whatever.

 

It is just so bloody annoying.

looks like they had some fun with this event there 2 handermace called the spoon of boon and looks like huge spoon!

 i rather like it shows that they can indeed make items for the game  on the fly or have fun with things, the ele damage one was rather disapointing since all it did was give crap to me the best one was the great swords rewards my spoon looks like  holding a ball of lightning on it i  call it the thor's spoon

Mine were pretty solid this week.

 

22 Mindchill Staff, an upgrade over the rare I had been using, and a Unique Bow who's name I'm drawing a blank on atm, worse stats than what I'm using but lots of flanking damage, might try it on Hunter.

The chests are random, that spoon isn't something special from this event.
