This is the Beard support thread for bearded Inquisitors of ALL kinds! Dwarves, Humans, even Ladies! I think that was a thing anyway....

 

If you have beard, you have purpose! Too many human inquisitors go through those mountains from haven clean shaven, freezing their cheeks off. Not us! We are men! (And bearded women.) We are mighty! WE. ARE. HAIRY!

I'll use this opportunity to criticise the lack of proper short beards in videogames. Why is it always either scruffy or Gandalf-like bearded? Like, seriously, it can't be that difficult.

Only wish there were better beardy options. Blackwall's will always be better.

Indeed. They're better than previous games... but that isn't saying much.

 

The Avvar recruit's hair is miniscule, but it's facial hair none the less and he looks awesome:

I was thinking he looked different... lol such a shame. Meanwhile varric seems to have lost a bit of his lipstick from the early versions thankfully. Think Varric could ever look good with a proper beard?

There is concept art in the art book where he has thicker scruff. He looks great, and I wish they would have went with that.

My Mahariel had probably never even seen a beard before she met him. I think there was swooning.

Too bad we'll never see Duncan in Frostbite 3.  Although that might be a good thing considering how hit or miss the beards are in DA:I.

Blackwall's beard was nice and majestic, so I imagine Duncan's would have been glorious.

And how different people look from the past to now. But I'm sure it'd be at least as good as Blackbeards. If on high settings.

 

I want to know why we still can't get different colored short stubble so it blends better. In certain lighting it looks great, while others, it's a bit off.
