Boss screenshot, I'm about to approach that part too. Gotta represent.

 

I would say all official bearded knights need to get that pic as a sort of badge, but unfortunately that would discriminate against console players.

It would, I do feel bad for console players there. Considering how good you can get some of the outfits to look being stuck in the beige outfit is a real drag come Skyhold.

Oh yea I was gonna ask you about that. Is that a mod you can get to change outfits?

I like it too, but I would like to walk around in some armor like Cassandra does. I think all those cutscenes and stuff would look a lot cooler. I'll switch from time to time.

Cheat engine and the cheat engine table release by olegbl. You can use it to make armour and weapons visible in Skyhold. I use it for that and for copying stats between items. For example craft 2 sets of armour, one for a visual style and the colours I want. Then another with the stats I want with high tier materials etc. Then use the included item editor to copy the stats over.

That way I can have the desired stats without the hot orange of dragon webbing causing me to go blind. As long as you have some self control, it is a very useful tool.

I like the grey outfit... I might be the only one. It blends/layers well with mage clothing (same studs and buttons and such).

 

At times it isn't terrible, but all the time post Skyhold is a pain. I prefer sitting on the throne, doing judgements and public things in full kit. Sell the image of the Inquisitor and all that.

It is, I infinitely prefer greatswords over greataxes yet the axes generally have the stats I want. So I make a sword & grip with the desired look, an axe & haft with the stats and copy over, letting it eat 2 lots of resources. Let there be a cost to style after all.

They could have used different things for other classes,  I agree. As for Inquisitor image, it seems to be the Keep's default for mage (while the warrior and rogue are in full armor).

 

 

Yup, it does suit mages. After all the outfit is just really your regular outfit without the coat/vest, gloves and boots. So it isn't a major change, going from full scale mail on a warrior to a suit makes me feel very under dressed, doesn't cut the same figure or inspire the same.

My reaction to the annoying situation of having to reroll when I noticed that my character's beard was clipping awkwardly, leading to a gap between the chin and the beard that caused it to float... thus forcing me to watch 22 hours of my two-hander Trevelyan go straight down the privy!

 

(Bioware, release a Black Emporium-esque Mirror of Transfiguration that allows us to go into the CC again, it's driving some of us nuts! And with the ability to alter Hawke's appearance in Inquisition, I feel kinda jealous that s/he is able to have that option in both games!)

Well to throw a wet blanket on your fangirling, I am rerolling him a rogue, I have just been tossing up changing his hair or not. Take a look in the Dwarf thread for the pics. I'm fond of some kind of hair but most suck and the mullet can be crappy at times.
