I was doing a lot of Challenging the other night because, well, usually it was so I could get guard because we were slaughtering things too quickly for them to attack me. But on many occasions, the targets did not turn to face me. Even ones with full health who just happened to be heading to someone else.
It did work the one time it counted, thankfully, when a rage demon was beating on the keeper.
